Kappy N Willow - The Adventure Begins.

Post by Kappy »

Been on the road for 5 days now, all going good.

2 nights ago parked up on the cliffs of The Great Australian Bight. What a great view got some great vision for my blog.

Yesterday a leisurely run from there to Cohen Rest area 16K west of Penong, where I discovered I lost a front panel.

Slow start, suffering from Time zone Bus lag, getting mobile around 1100 SA time, then a short run to Penong to check out the windmills.

From there a short hop to Ceduna where I go some more fresh veges.

Decided to stay at the Ceduna Airport CVP, where some washing was done, plus a 20 minute hot shower.

See what happens tomorrow.
Cheers

Well done! Fantastic project. Everything new and shiny - shame about the hat. Everything a man wants, a dog, and a dusty dashboard. What does that tell you? :D

Love the drone photography. ;) That was really special.

Kappy, what sort of fuel economy are you getting?

So far about 4k's/litre or 25l/100k.

Been down to 3.7 and back up to 4.5. about where I budgeted.

Feeling keeping at or just below 2000 rpm if I sit on 2100 rpm flies along at 85-91 km h, feeling the former is better.

Any thoughts??

Kappy, you may notice a difference in fuel consumption when you start climbing some hills.
