Wannamal WA

Post by weezanickinoff »

Wannamal Rest Area and free camp in between Mogumber and Bindoon WA. It's on the Moora Rd, we went and spent the morning at New Norcia then headed south to here. Excellent 'locals" looked after area, with clean well looked after ammenities, toilets, free BBQ, Tables, Shelter, Bins emptied daily, there is a donation box and there are lovely walks around the Rest area and further with native flora and fauna would be spectacular in spring. Big Rig friendly plenty of shade, we had the place to ourselves.

Rather nice spot.
Think most of the travellers are either down south, or huddled up along the coastline

Shall keep this in mind for this year- did not see it last time there or maybe because we had just left New Norcia after a couple of nights.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
