Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Just to upset you two...I can put my jocks and shoes on standing 😁😀😁. Oops when I remember to put them on 😂🤣
And without falling.
Bernie.
Bernie, I reckon that you should think yourself lucky. I would suggest that you would be in the minority here. I haven't been able to put my socks on whilst standing up for a few years now, and you might have a few years on me. :D

I was having trouble putting my jocks on at one stage - but not any longer - I simply cut the material across the bottom of the crotch so I now hove one big hole to step into instead of two smaller ones. :D

Strange as it may seem, I can too, I can't do it sitting on the bed though. I do need a wall in close proximity because as soon as I lift either leg I start to tilt  I can still cut my toe nails, but there is a lot of huffing and puffing and requires a bit of a rest every so often, but that is more the problem of getting my arms around my beer gut

Fact 1: Hand sanitizers contain alcohol.
Fact 2: Wine contains alcohol.
Fact 3: We’re told not to drink the sanitizer.

So why don’t we just dabble our fingers in the glass before drinking our wines?

Saves buying a second product, and saves wasting alcohol producing sanitizer.
😀

Effective sanitizers contain 80 % alcohol. Even Vodka contains only 40% alcohol.

Not being able to lift a leg has a lot to do with your pelvic floor and core muscles not working properly.
Sit in a chair and raise a knee and hold for upto 1 minute a few times a day. Plus, tighten your glutes and squeeze your bum tight.

An osteopath showed these tips when I couldn't lift my feet to put socks and shoes on. It's amazing how quickly the body can retrain itself.

Hmmm....... so we need to drink twice as much? At least that work for the social distancing, while you are facedown on the floor you will be the required distance from a cough or a sneeze .... yet another rule for social distancing? If someone has gone face down but still appears to be breathing, don't try to stand them back up. If they a blocking the clear passage or in danger of being run over or falling off the balcony if they try to roll over, drag them to a better spot via the safe end, the feet ;) You could try rolling them onto a tarp or blanket and dragging that by the safe end so they don't get carpet burn or gravel rash to the nose, chin and forehead ......
