Latest clever scam

Post by T1 Terry »

Be very careful, there are some very clever scams getting about lately. Just received an email from Netflix asking me to finish the steps required to set up the account with a simple, tab to click on and they will do the rest. It then said the contact was from our smart tv. I knew something was up because my email is not connected in anyway with the tv, only the business email because the tv is for the customer lounge area.
On a closer inspection, the web address was a string of numbers, optusnets.com Very clever, by adding the "s" onto optusnet it becomes a different web site all together, so I deleted it.
