We will see what comes of their challenge. No penalty points or license suspension in my friend’s case.

Good news that our friends’ Adelaide speeding fine has been withdrawn. A good result for them.

Great news, it would be even better if they could get their act together and not issue the notices in the first place.

Leslie,
What was the thrust of their argument to have it withdrawn?

I don’t know exactly what they wrote but along the lines that their rig is not a truck. Similar to what Bruce has quoted.jon_d wrote:Leslie,

Re: Lesley & Erich on the road again.
As we have now been given a modicum of freedom to travel our State, we headed off on Wednesday for a 5 night stay at the Pier Caravan Park at Urangan in Hervey Bay, just 45 minutes from home.
This is the newest CP in Hervey Bay, not on the Esplanade but just a short stroll away. During June they are offering a pay 4 stay 5 deal totalling $168. Not bad value given the quality of the park and its location. Apparently the tariff in July, if the borders are open and the Mexicans arrive, will be $50pn. If the borders remain closed, the tariff will remain as it is.
There are many excellent restaurants and cafés within walking distance so we have been enjoying a few meals out.
Here are a few photos.

First time we visited Cairns 1966, I cried when I saw the seafront at the Esplanade, Cairns, it was low tide & was littered with empty bottles & old car tyres, wow, how it has changed for the better.
Thought we had driven so far to find this mess, we ended up staying at Ellis Beach motel which was up behind the Bistro & you could swim there in those days.

Re: Lesley & Erich on the road again.
After two weeks at home following our stay in Hervey Bay, we are on the road again.
We left home yesterday and stopped at the free camp in the centre of Proston. Sadly it is incredibly dry out here. We enjoyed a lovely roast lamb lunch and a couple of beers at the pub. As we are allowed to stay two nights here, we will check out the “Department Store” and the Jacaranda Tearooms before heading to Chinchilla Weir tomorrow.
