Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

A bit “dribbly”, but a real conversation piece!
Why not keep it for a market display piece?
At least it should provoke lots of comments!!

Dot, you are funny. Fruit would definitely fall right out of that structure or worse, get stabbed by the thin tentacles that dropped from the roof. xxxx

Ray, I had thought of that too, but as a structure, it was way too fragile and probably wouldn't make it in one piece anywhere. Today I watched it turn into a nice round blob in a stainless steel bowl in the kiln. Soon, I will have another go at making it into a something. Your guess is as good as mine as to what it will actually be, but so far, it has retained a lot of the colour patches, so time will tell.

Did some weird stuff today, including sorting out some of my teaching boxes, to give to some visiting kids next door. They have been stuck here with the same toys for 8 weeks and don't want to return home to Melbum with their toddlers. So toys were easily found to amuse the kids and now I have some space to stash more glass junk. win win

Watched both episodes and to me it looks like a NT police stitch up ( Lindy Chamberlin ?)
The NT. SA and WA Police wanted Murdoch for serious drug running and couldn't catch him in action.
So make him fit the crime.

Several extra questions.
1. Who moved the Kombi from the side of the road.
2. How much was Falconio insured for ( remember he insured himself before leaving GB )
3. Who got the insurance $$$$
4. The red car seen by the truck driver before Lees stopped him.
5. Falconio was seen far away a few days later in NSW by 2 people.
6. Lees was stoned 1 hour before it supposedly all happened, so was she "straight" when she said it all happened how she said.
7. Murdoch was in the same shop as Lees in "The Alice" but as he was carrying a big load of "Hydro" up the Tamini Track, why endanger that drug run.
8. Stopped at a roadhouse and had a toasted sanga, but said they hadn't stopped.

There's more question than answers with this case

Dot, yes any glass can be melted down. But, it can't be mixed with other glasses, because they are all made differently. I have learnt that even two beer bottles from the same company may not fire together well. They could behave quite badly and crack or break within hours of being taken from the kiln. I am happiest to stick to known glasses that are meant for fusing. Even my stained glass glass is not compatible with itself never mind fusing glass. It's been a lot new learning for me too Dot. Stay warm down there mate xxxx

Built a new mold for the glass blob today. So tomorrow it will have a remodelling heat up. I made a drop through mold with bigger holes to keep the tentacles to a bit more solid shape and then the fragility will no longer be a problem (I hope). I will let you know more, when I know more.

Did a bit of sewing and stuff this afternoon, so it was a change from glassing.
good night one and all xxx
