Ok simply answer please have tried to search but my question may be wrong.
At this point in time do I need a permit to enter NSW from SA via Broken Hill?
If so can you please provide a link to the permit page?
Thank you Robert

Re: Entering NSW from SA
Not the answer I was looking for and the reply questions my common sense
Not going till the first week in August
Trip to northern NSW via the back roads no sight seeing.
3 days there then into Qld and straight to the NT.
2/3 weeks in Adelaide River working on our house.
Straight down the centre to home.
This is not a sight seeing or tourist trip but one that needs to be done at this time.
If I deem NSW to be NOT safe I will head up the centre.
Can I please just have a answer to my OP as asked. Thank you.

To be safe, I'd head up through the centre into NT first, do what you needed to do there while watching what is happening as far as the virus spread or containment. If all is well you could then continue on and do your planned trip in reverse, depending on just how well these outbreaks have been contained.

Re: Entering NSW from SA
RnB, I have asked Mr google and it looks like you will need a permit from nsw government to get in there. You will need to prove that you havent been in vic for at least 14 days. Then another one from Qld got to get in , same criteria. I can't find much about entry to NT, except that you might have to isolate for 14 days. If you google Services NSW and the SAPol websites you will eventually get to the right place. When they opened the Qld border there were a lot of complaints about not being able to find the forms. They are going to change the NSW entry requirements soon according to overnight news.
I would think that it may be prudent at this point to head up the middle, do you works and monitor the ever changing situation from there. You will also need to give at least 3 days notice prior to returning to SA apparently.
Good luck.

Re: Entering NSW from SA
David thank you have obtained links to forms required and watching the situation closely. Expect there to be changes in the next two weeks in all states.
Notice there are now cases reported north of Newcastle at Port Stephens which they traced back to a Sydney visitor who also went to Maitland. Does not take long to spread. If it travels further north then I will not be going via NSW.
Unfortunately I have to go to the NT but even then I will be watching the situation between our states and will follow the governments advise.
As I now have the answer I sought I believe this end this thread, thank you to those who gave assistance. Robert
