I loose mine sometimes so I pull the cable from the gauge and then reinsert after a short wait. This resets the blue tooth device if that is the one you have.
Mine keeps saying that some one else has connected to the system eg when I go for my morning walk someone must try and log in. Not sure why.
Not sure on the new ones you might have to disconnect the guage.
Have you got location open on your phone as that will stop it working also. Check location is working by going to google maps and see it it shows your location.
