David, I look forward to the day when we can all get back to whatever normal looks like. You would of course be welcome to drop by the lair to see this crazy dragonlady in action.

I had a total flop today. The kiln gods were not co-operating and a blue drop vase is not looking so crash hot at the moment. It sort of turned turtle, once it had become liquid and the sides started to drop down so fast that they took the top bits down with them. Once it has cooled properly, I will work out another way to use it. Guaranteed it won't go to waste, it will just become different to what I had planned. Obviously that will become another challenge piece.

Took a trailer load of our friends stuff down to her new abode, she has so much junk to sort through I bought my pussy a water drinking fountain, washed it and plugged it on and good ol Brian went straight for a drink cats like running water so he is happy. Have been swapping between watching Mrs Browns boys and the boys on bikes, those roads are so unreal. Time to hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight j-d x

Yesterday's disaster vase didn't look any better today. It has slipped from the top of the mold on two sides, so doesn't have a full rim around it and because I turned the kiln off early, instead of falling to the bottom of the kiln and having a flat bottom, it has a bowl shaped bottom.

SO today I enjoyed some hammer therapy and now it's ready on a flat mold for it's next turn in the kiln.

Never give up Deborah G did a bit more getting the bus heater in until he decided the grass needed mowing. He's off the the block tomorrow to do a weed spray also meeting the surveyor to get the boundaries correct before fence gets done. I am going to stay home and try to get enthused to do some junk sorting (don't hold your breath though) Boys are biking nicely and time to put another load of washing on and I'm off to bed e buys so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Miles from Utah x

Today started out lovely and sunny but it degenerated to cold, cloudy and windy. And we don't live anywhere near Melbourne!

I fiddled in the shed today. Mostly doing a deep clean after reading about one of my glass mates having serious lung issues that could have been avoided by wearing a mask more often in the studio. So all the surfaces had any residual glass dust wet wiped down and the mask is now out on top of the sanders and grinders.

I need some serious ugly sleep, so night all xxx
