We love helicopter and fixed wing flights over places we have travelled. It gives perspective to the whole thing. Probably the best one we have done is at Cobold Gorge. The gorge was not discovered until around 1994 from memory. We did the ground tour and then the heli flight. The gorge was invisible until we were directly overhead.

We did a Kimberley Cruise from Broome in 2016, landed at Naturalists Island and then flew in a helicopter over Mitchell Falls to Mitchell Plateau. From there we flew in a fixed wing aircraft back to Broome. Probably one of the best things we have done. The flight over the Horizontal Falls as part of the cruise was almost as good as the boat trip.
Cheers
