lithium battery pack.jpg
I'm guessing they are CALB SE cells (Chinese Aviation Lithium Batteries) last produced around 5 to 6 yrs ago I believe but old stock keeps appearing here and there. They have no label on top of the relief valve so it could be one of those seller rebranding things, who knows. The label on the side should give some sort of indication of capacity and hopefully manufacturer.
The links look to be correctly positioned, but clearly the surfaces were not polished to remove any oxidisation build up and no Alminox was used to stop further oxidization build up.
Next, the strapping is just bundling, there is nothing to stop the end cells from swelling in the centre eventually snapping the worm fastener off the strap and then all the cells will be free to swell.
Looks to be the start of a battle that will eventually be lost with great pain to the wallet. Who was the "expert" that built that battery pack?

I just realised they are stacked on their side sitting on the floor, it isn't that the photo is up the wrong way ...... The electrolyte will settle to the lower part of the cells starving the rest of the plates of electrolyte and seriously reducing the capacity .... it will be a good test for the safety valves to see if the electrolyte does leak, it will have a strange sweet smell if it does leak.

That is a massive headache just waiting to unleash itself on someone
