Bloody rain. Drove in heavy rain from home to Cordalba to-day- do not tell us we should have stayed at home because do not have a home!!!!!Just came out to van after having dinner inside with rellies. Pulled bedspread back off pillow to find the padding at the head of the bed, 2 pillows, top of breadspread wet- on my side.
Usually comes in a little through the front window but this . Admittedly at times the rain was very heavy. Ah well, hope for some sun to-morrow. What a great start on the 1st day.

Rained most of the night here in Kilmore VIC.

Not sure how much but where I am camped I have little rivers running down through the paddock or should I say Blazeaid Heights for all the blazeaiders on this site.

Rain will be gratefully received here as it was very dry here and water was a problem as we were not able to get water from the top dam down to the stock.

Not sure how long it will last here but it appears that QLD are going to be in for it in the next week if we can believe our weather forecaster.

We have been warned that some of the places where we have already done work may be effected again and perhaps the new fences will be washed away AGAIN.

We wish for rain and then it bloody floods, we wish for the rain to stay away and then we have bloody fires.

We had fires in Victoria and now looking at some floods on the east coasts, fires and floods in NSW even both in some areas and major floods in QLD. Big cyclone ready to hit WA and it is projected to hit QLD hard in the next week or so and then coming down so will be interesting.

Makes one lucky when we spend our lives with out these disasters in our annual calender. Some people live with them every year and it is recently that the events have been given wide coverage in the media.

Nite Nite all, Been a busy day, managed to start the big cut back of the garden before we head off next week but one should not have let THE BOSS lose with the electric hedge cutters, he hates anything to do with gardening : my poor plants will never be the same again, only thing we will not have to cut them back again for at least 12 months Our weather in Ballarat at present is quite different we had rain overnight but still very warm and humid during the day and from 4pm today we have more thunder storms and rain, pouring again at present, but still quite warm.... hope its stops by the morning as we have more shrubs to be butchered by THE BOSS tomorrow.. Have a good night everyone and stay safe and stay dry where ever you are.
