Lock down

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

So much for my 6 day holiday .... seems we are classed as an essential service because we maintain off grid power supplies and energy suppliers maintenance is regarded as an essential service ... and probably rightfully so ..... just would have enjoyed the rest of the holiday but there ya go
Got to visit the doctor in Murray Bridge yesterday to confirm the test results, no diverticulitis traces in the blood or urine and they both came back good, so I haven't killed any vital organs with alcohol or caffeine, just the hernia tear so started the process of getting booked in to have it repaired. We did get a few names of specialists to find out the cost via the private sector, but I doubt very much we will have the $$ to go private, so the long slow trip getting a bed at the public hospital I guess. No private health insurance, if we could have afforded to pay that over all these yrs we could have paid for the private hospital trip and still had money left over ....

Just been announced that the SA lock down will now finish at midnight on Saturday, three days early. Good news for those that have a life. Cheers

They are saying he/she will get off scot free. Bet the owner of the shop is not happy as his business is stuffed and will not be worth diddly swat to sell. See how long before their face is on facebook.
There will be a lot of people looking for them so they may be better locked up for quite a while

Police are now looking to see if they can charge him, certainly cost a lot of people money and time. Was expecting the curtain bloke to day to repair the tracks and he had to postpone the work. Just hoping the electrician and home theatre people are still good for next week.

I'm betting his job at the Pizza place was a cash in hand job, & he was trying to protect both his job & his employer.

As Cuppa said, I'd go along with the whole "Cash in hand" thing and both the business and the employee came to an agreement about claiming to be a customer ..... if that was the case, do the crime, pay the fine .... the business will struggle and definitely get a tax audit, the employee will have to pay back taxes plus penalties as well as replay any excess payment received from social security.
As far as being able to prosecute them for telling porkies, those who were collecting the information must not have had an official govt position so there was no criminal offence committed by telling porkies to someone not duly authorised and empowered to collect such information.
The real question still needs to be addressed, how did the outbreak spread from the quarantine facility into the general population, be it a hospital wing, a locked down facility or a quarantine hotel? Something there has fallen down badly and created the problem in the very beginning and that needs to be made public to ensure it doesn't happen again ....
