Thank goodness the last delivery we were waiting on just arrived so we will be able to leave as planned tomorrow, turning right to head to the Gateway and all points south for Easter and 7 months on the road. House sitters have the keys and will move in tomorrow afternoon. Woohoo! So looking forward to it.

Hey there, catch you down the track- that's if nothing else bloody well decides to die- now getting a new compressor in Engel- got $700 to lend me?????
Safe travel, enjoy, take plenty pics, have a couple of reds (or whites)- you have the general idea by now.

Thanks Helen and Admin. Believe me, you will be sick of me posting where we are and what we are doing. Kay, you could almost get a new one for that.

We decided to go for the plastic case Engel as we had the drawers, fridge slide etc built with a cover across the top. $799 for that one compared to $1199 for the standard one. I know what you mean about spending money though. This rig is turning into a money pit. Just had the bearings, brakes etc serviced on the van, modification to the hitch and today a new gas regulator. And that's just this week. Don't want to think about the past few weeks.

Can't wait to leave home so we will only be spending money on fuel (I hope!). Catch you on the road down or, if not, at Whitfield.

Thanks Dot. That is the beauty of this trip. We will be able to take our time and just amble from place to place. Looking forward to catching up again in person at Whitfield.
