I vaguely remember visiting a Lachlan Village around that area somewhere. Can't remember much about it.
Been going through old photos, but can't be specific.
On the same trip we visited Swan Hill Village, so I might be confusing the two. I think Lachlan Village was a smaller version...

Thats it Ray. It was the Lachlan Vintage Village. We stopped there a few times in the 80's. Some of the old buildings are still there. I think the local council owns it now and it is has been for sale for a long time now.

Correct term is Ampere , probably some French bloke that discovered its purpose. We all use the shortened version amp or amps. Now I need to do some research to find out what that military units current name is.
Dot, did I spell something wrong? If I did, I find it almost improbable that Ray or George didn't pick it up.
