Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Goodnight Everyone, been a busy day, I had to fillet 3 large bream for the g'sons this afternoon, ready to cook tomorrow night, Jacob the 10 year old caught his 1st decent size bream today, so guess now he'll be as keen as Nathan. The kids that have moved into the rental next door to them, caught a tailor & gar fish small ones.

Dot, enjoy the leather pants xxxx
We went to visit an art display today. It was interesting and amazing what creative talent is hidden in our local area. As well as paintings, there were a few people with stalls selling their wares. I had a ball talking to these crafty people, but they all wanted more info on my necklace and earrings. Really it became a lovely time of sharing information about different markets and various suppliers for fancy glues etc. His nibs was bored out of his mind, but happy to out and about anyways.

Dot, I only get to cook the fish, the four boys are always keen to eat them
, really good that they enjoy the fishing beats spending time playing computer games. Aaryn took them riding to Speeds Point on Saturday, there is a long track around the northern shore of the lake they love going riding too.
Deborah you have to get it correct Lycra pants are the the go.
the youngest son is a cyclist, he was recently hit by a car coming out of a side street the bloke said that he didn't see him, fortunately he wasn't injured but his bike was a rightoff, he had a video camera on the bike.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Shirley,
‘Speeds Point’?
Do you mean ‘Speers Point’?
Good to know the boys are out & about, not sitting inside with a screen in their face!
As they ride around the top end of Warners Bay they will pass within 50m of the house I grew up in.
And BTW, it’s a ‘writeoff’ (‘write-off’ is correct, but we seem to be losing hyphens left, right & centre, unfortunately).

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, back to watching the boys in LYCRA. Sorry I thought they were on motor bikes therefore leather. I can learn things too
xxxx
Shirley, did the lycra pants save your boy? I will admit to prefering to wear bamboo pants as soon as the weather gets a little chilly, but then again, I don't ride a bike of any kind (no sense of balance).
Had a slow day with a load of dots in the kiln and a lot of garden to find. The house survived the heavy rains, but there is still a lot of time needed to be spent getting the yard looking a bit more loved. Our dragon fruit cactus is happily making lovely fruits and today I dribbled red juice everywhere as it was so juicy from all the rain. I reckon I will enjoy another half a dozen of them before the season ends, yummo.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Oh Deborah your "leather" comment made me remember a very funny incident but not really funny. My friend was the lady that did the embalming, make up and reconstructive work on the dearly departed. She was getting ready to do a motorbike cop when the rellies bought in the clothes they wanted him dressed for the viewing
Well have you ever tried to put leather pants and esp the gloves and boots on a floppy / stiff body? The only way to have any chance of success was to put the man on the floor and start the wrestling match, after a lot of words been said and the person hoisted into his box it was time for display, everyone very pleased with the job done BUT my friend was told before the cremation the family wanted the leathers, boots and gloves back, usually these types of clothes are cut up the back to make it easier to put on or off. So out the back the box goes and the wrestling match began once again
it was proving impossible on the floor so this time the man was hoisted up to get the pants and boots off It was so funny to watch this and there was my friend swearing and apologizing to the man and everyone else trying to be somber but all crying with laughter. End result was a success and he made the BBQ in time. She also helped me with making my mum pretty, we also had some good laughs with mum of which mum would have loved.
And that is what leather pants reminds me of.
On that happy note I shall say Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Tanks x
Goodnight Mr Major x

Julie Anne always thought her name was hyphenated until she recently found her birth certificate and now, instead of just one Christian name, she has two.
