Camped at Dumaresq Dam outside of Armidale, trying to out run the rain without much success. Been blowing a gale all night so hopefully it will blow the clouds away.

Kay, do you remember the couple we met at Nyah with a Kedron, Henk & Glenys? Glenys was a friend of a friend of yours I think. Well, they were here when we rolled in and have the prime possie, I reckon. Had a good chat to them again yesterday. They are planning to head to WA for 12 months across the top once the monsoon season is finished so you may run into them over there.

It's sure a small world. We hanging around here as the postponed funeral from Sat is now supposed to be on Thursday morning. It will all depend on the weather! Reversing into yard here yesterday - up an incline- & Bruce reckons the clutch did not feel "right" . Going to see our Bundaberg mechanic who put it in over 100,000ks ago to check it out. What's another few hundred dollars
At least there will be nothingleft to go wrong across the desert!
Ah & about the Engel. After picking it up Friday the temp had not altered after the new compressor/fan etc was installed. We returned to them yesterday & asked whether they had checked the seal as had been suggested in the first place. NO. Got a new seal (lid) put in, he never mentioned payment for that & we never offered. This morning in it down to minus 20 which is what it usually runs at. Back to them this morning & demanding some money back

Unfortunately there appears to be a lot of that going on these days.

Sounds like a good place to stay away from & I'd be dropping there name at each & every happy hour I attended!

Kay if you don't get full refund ask for the compressor back.
If you don't want it I bet BobnBev will take it off you!!!
A bit like a friend I have who went in for a knee cleanout & they did the wrong leg....... grrr!

We got the replaced compressor yesterday when we went back to them.
