Accept all defaults single 10700 for the lnb, thats all that is needed.

My advice is turn it on and let is sit there for a few hours to wake up, have you renewed and woken up your vast registration?

Make sure card is active, renew and wake up at mysat address previously noted.

Ain't technology fun.

I'm getting close.
I can see that the TV and Radio channels are accessible, however, I am now getting a message E -107.4 the card is not fully authorized.
But, I received a reply from the good people at VAST who tell me that I am now registered for Victoria. So I shall check again tomorrow.

Thanks Russell. At what points do I have to register for a different area. We often travel between SA and Vic, Most recently we free camped a bit out of Bordertown with no TV reception. Where would we sit on that one?

Did you do it here Steve?
https://www.mysattv.com.au/travellers.aspx

Bordertown is a good digital area. Antenna problems perhaps? You MUST have a HD digital TV or set top box. Is yours HD?

It's satellite so if you come from Melbourne you can leave it on "Eastern" & if you're in Perth you'll still get your Eastern TV.
If you live in Perth you can leave it on Western & get your Perth news when in Sydney.
There's really no need to change it (in my opinion) other than receiving the 6 o'clock news at 4PM etc.
98% of the programming is the same everywhere anyway........ Home & away, CSI etc etc.

I did it via the help email address at that site. Thanks for the info that I can leave it where it is.

My antenna is good and I have a HD TV - The particular spot out of Bordertown is just a bad spot - I wouldn't normally bother to watch TV there - just wanted to try out the Winegard Freevision HV antenna which, by the way, works well. In areas of good reception it doesn't even need to go up.

At last! It works.

No need to tell you Russell, but the key definitely is to turn it on, leave it alone, go away, don't fiddle, be patient.

Thanks for your help.
