Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, still thinking of ya mate xxxx

Bruce, that link didn't open, but yes, I am being very cautious of ebaying stuff. I only use paypal and watch that account like a hawk. The first vendor sent me an immediate refund, so that wasn't so bad, just a bit inconvenient. I refuse to buy from Chinese dealers, even tho the stuff I am buying is probably made in China. I find I may pay a bit more, but the posting time is way better if I buy from places that have stock in Australia and delivery is usually free. So no dramas there.

I took all the latest re-built pendants to return to their display cases and was more critical of what was still in the cases. There were still a lot that could do with a re-vamp. I have removed all of the metal bails from the pendants and now have them ready for the shed tomorrow. A bit more careful redecorating will be happening with them tomorrow. Most of them are just way too big, so it may be as simple as trimming a bit off the edges and re-firing to make them smooth.

Stay warm out there, night all xxx
Deborah

Dot xxxx

My shed was the place to be today. I fiddled around with some older pendants and remodeled quite a few of them. Some, were beyond redemption, so they have been tossed in the melt down pot where they may live again in another totally different form.

The sun was lovely at the start of the day but it soon turned to clouds and rain. bbbbrrrrr

night all xxx

hi everyone, had the upyubum done last Wed morning and home that arvo, one word DRAINED shi -less. Lots of bits taken for tests and will find out if anything tomorrow. Still very tired and no energy maybe just age??? It has been so dam cold, price of red gum wood 1 t is $500 :o so the air con is cheaper to run. . Once again I am having woes with this machine, when I try to access a site a sign pops up and says "this site is nor responding" & a choice of wait or leave and some little blue dots spinning around and saying it is downloading, but nothing happens :?: :?: :?: :?: House next door is progressing slowly with just the one brickie. My niece and family will be calling in for a couple of days next week on their way up the middle for school holidays, the 2 girls have their set jobs when they pull up to set their van up so that is nice to see. They are from Ainesbury (out of Melton ) I think. Good kids as both parents have been bought up the way we were so no crap is tolerated by their parents. Yes they get a bum wack if they go too far  Deborah keep the art work coming and make sure that caravan maker fixes the water leaks. Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Hope all the sick ones are all doing well, How's your arm Robert ? Goodnight Tanks x :D & Mr Major x

Goodnight Tanks x :D & Mr Major x
Mr Major has been beddy-byes for some time.
SWMBO has taken him for morning & evening walks every day since we arrived at The Bunker. I don't think he's used to such exercise. :? :D
Loves it, though...
Regards & God bless,

Dot sounds like you are still going through hell mate. It's not a crime to stop and relax when you feel tired, so take care xxxx

As for doing as the slavedriver says.... I went down to my shed today to check on the progress of the kiln and it was dead. The kiln has fired the glass to almost hot enough and then it has just stopped. The controller has no lights or power. I plugged the old kiln controller into the same power point and it's working ok, so not really impressed with the new one. The seller is not answering his phone and has a backlog of messages. I will catch him eventually and have a replacement controller asap. As he works on a lot of industrial kilns in brick works and big potteries, he is often out of reach for a few days. Luckily, I can still pile in the half made bits into the old kiln and resume the load. But what PITA.

I will be a bit busy with medical stuff the next couple of days, so the kiln will have to wait.

nighty night all xxx

Goodnight all, Deborah hope it is not a major problem.

Dot it is sore as a poked bum tonight, had a shower which was good but the arm is nearly covered in bruising, worse than yesterday. Starting physio tomorrow so expect it to be sore again. O well no pain no gain. Takecare Robert
