Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's just as cold here too Dot. My computer says it's 8degrees, flamin heck it really is cold. Stay warm mate xxxx

I know I said no more jewellery, but.... I wear a very big pendant that is cut from lots of thin strips and fused in such a way that it sort of resembles a vase of flowers. Always get lovely comments when I wear it. A mate saw it and asked for a couple like it to give as gifts. My response was that it's a one off, experimental one. Well, I have thought about that and today, when I was moving a box of dichroic glass, I thought it can't be sold like that. So I got into the swing of it and made a kiln load of them. All different colours and all slightly different. The kiln could only fit 10 of them, I did say they are big. They will also be expensive.

Keith.
Keith,
Does that mean you sleep twice as long, or twice as deep?
😁

No Ray, it just works out that I have 2 days in one. No wonder I'm getting older by the day.

Goodnight Dot, hope goes well tomorrow. Aust Post are next to useless with their delivery times. Can't rely on the tracking system either. We often send stuff to country NSW. Tracking says still in Sydney, but it has been delivered. Or not arrived and don't know where it is.
Cheers

Fingers and toes crossed for you tomorrow Dot xxxx

We had the AZ injections today. I finally gave in, once the Indian variety hit Sydney, the game had changed and the risks of getting covid are now far greater. So far, no problems, but not game to predict what the next couple of days will bring.

Fiddled with the 10 pendants that were in the kiln. Three of them had pieces move during firing and I didn't like the look of them. So I nipped some bits off each piece and returned the pieces to the kiln. The nipped off pieces, were then put back in better positions and the whole three of them are getting a warming now. It seemed a waste of my solar power (from the house battery), but the firing is different from jewellery to plates, so I hope this is the last of the jewellery for a while. I want them finished now, so I can get back to fancy, big stuff.

Hi. Dot needs a live feed on her camera. We could all keep an eye on what is going on.
A few pics for Deborah of a new kiln we lifted in for a lady up the road.

Pots lined up ready for firing as soon as the power is wired up. She mainly makes them as a hobby and sells a few to cover costs.
Goodnight all. Cheers john

I will not ever have any reason to be up when it is still dark, why do people do that?? I have now had my "attachment" taken off and have finally had some real food ie custard and stewed apples. When I swallowed the camera the Dr said "well done that was $1k worth" I paid $200, I did ask if they wanted to buy it back when and if I found it but he said "No thank you" Got home around 0900 and promptly went to sleep on the chair. It was soooooo cold today had the air con on forall of the day and night so I am heading to bed to watch the boys on bikes so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D PS I might ask if I can have a copy of my gut video just for you John x
