Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Haven't seen the flashing light from within yet. Watching the boys on bikes OMG they are so fit and switching to watch the tennis. George went to the dentist for some clean up work and the dentist noticed some other tooth that needed attention so he fixed that but didn't charge for it. $100 saved so not too bad huh?Got someone coming in the morning to finish off getting a tree cut down, George did half but realized how precarious the top would be so get the pros in. David the Oz parcel delivery came yesterday pm but a parcel i ordered a day after the first one arrived today. Much better by far.
I'm off to bed e buys now so goodnight everyone x
Goodnight HTFFBO x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, that was a short excursion to the big wide world. Hope you get some worthwhile results mate xxxx
John, that is very unkind
Now I have really bad kiln envy .
My post from last night disappeared into the ether. The kiln man sent an email to say they found the fuse in the controller had blown. Now they need to see the kiln, to figure out the why. We are still in lockdown, but lucky for the kiln man, I have a doc appointment tomorrow at Belmont. Which is only 20 minutes away from the kiln man. So for my mental health, we will drop the kiln off to him after I see the doc.
Annoyingly, we have just been granted another delightful week of lockdown and we are really not happy with that. Our jayco mob are going to be away next weekend and now we don't think it would be possible for us to escape from here. Boy, it sucks big time.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah, Bruce has an appointment at Mater hospital Newcastle next Monday, considering there hasn't been a positive case on the Central Coast for over a year our lockdown seems extreme but better to be safe than sorry, wish it was only the old Gosford Shire that was locked down.
George you'll have all the state of origin mob up there soon, one wonders why they don't get locked down, we can't even have a game of bowls or a roll up.

The fact that our family members obeyed the rules and didn't come to Sean's wedding last Saturday I am not happy to see anyone from The Central Coast region breaking the rules. We are quite prepared to dob in those that disobey the rules.

All the footy mob will be from all over, many of them from the greater Sydney lockdown area, really don't see how it is allowed to to be played.
Many local folk shop at Coles Swansea but have been driving to either Budgewoi or North Lakes Coles to shop.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I think Melb endured almost 4 months of lockdown. It all seems a blur now.
One thing was obvious, the people who complained about it had a harder time.
The people who accepted the need and found their rhythm had a much easier time.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Is that "the rhythm method"
Watched the bikes and tried to stay awake during the tennis but just could not make it. The man came and did the tree for us and took the rubbish away as his mulcher is having a sickie. Having visitors tomorrow morning and also more blood tests to check my blood levels are holding
. No sign of the flashing bum impostor
Off for a shower then into a nice warm bed ready for the boys battling those big hills. Goodnight everyone x

Enjoy the lycra-ed bums Dot and stay sane xxxx
George better get ready to dob in all the footbrawlers who can't follow simple instructions and behave themselves.
Jon, it would be ok if the rhythm of my life was not dependant on me selling some of my glassworks to supplement buying more glass. I have had Lightning Ridge opal festival (last week of July) cancel and now actually getting up to Queensland for our biggest sale of the year is now looking pretty negative. Both those festivals were cancelled last year, so I am feeling this really deeply. Mostly I have had a positive attitude too, but when we see so many high profile people like footbrawlers totally ignoring the rules, it is becoming more difficult.

Yes, understand. We had it all too. And then, we copped all the crap and sarcasm from the other states about not being able to manage the virus. It's a lot to give up to try and keep Australia safe.... it's only when you do it that you realise how big the commitment really is.
