Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Have 10 bales of pea straw delivered Sat morning $40. This morning a few men and a machine came to tidy up the next doors rubbish. Could not believe my eyes, 2 pallets of unused bricks loaded and dumped in the skip. Why?? So much wastage these days. Gman and I are booked in for our booster jab :D Did you know I am straight? Q/ why are borders being opened up when for example Melb reporting more positive cases and more deaths???? I just can not understand this at all???? A bit more pressure cleaning done today, lots more to do though. Catching up with an old forumite over the weekend. Time to guess my hair color again. Time for bed so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

Dot, I can't speak for the pollies, but the borders are opening to give the natural selection theories a chance to sort out the less intelligent peoples....maybe? They seem to have more expectations of this vaccine than most of us do. I see that England is still having a lot of cases, even though they claim to be well vaccinated. Until you find that they have not vaxed their high school students to the same degree as we have. They opened up way too soon, not many masks are being worn at all, and many are paying the price for it. At least we have given our high school kids a chance of survival now. You continue to be safe and stay sane mate xxxx

Put the piece back into the kiln to start getting some shape to and then headed off to do some gardening. After a few hours, I went to check kiln. It was on a super slow warm up, so had only reached 300 degrees. The glass had already split. Kiln got turned off to cool down and tomorrow that piece of glass will go in the bin. It has reached the point of being unstable. I would hate to give or sell a piece that could break at any time. It has been a long time since I threw out unstable glass, but it has to be that way. I will get back to normal transmissions tomorrow.

nighty night all xxx

Hope you have gone fire engine red there Dot. Can't beat bright colours for uplifting your spirits (or a slug of rum) :o  xxxx

The storms that were promised here, just blew out to sea. I think we may have dodged a bullet. But the winds have been horrendous. We have wondered why we see a helicopter dragging a fire bucket on these extreme wind days. Turns out that he is dumping water on the power station ash dam, to keep the ash from flying out of control. Not impressed that they could risk a pilot and his expensive machine in such treacherous conditions. Surely they could rig up a fire hose with generator to put water, from the lake, onto the mess. I will follow this up to check the facts, before I do any more about it.

There is a lovely platter in the kiln tonight, so it's all systems go from now on.

Take care in this crappy weather
night all xxx

Sun, wind and some rain was today's menu. Finally planted the 2 crepe myrtles and the 2 Mini NZ Christmas trees. All holes that we dug had moisture in, apart from one which was not even the slightest bit damp. After all the rain we have had and not a drop of moisture ???? Bought a pair of Archies arch support thongs, recommended by my chiro, so hoping they areas good as they say they are. Deborah the colour I put through my hair is just a subtle baby blue , washes out after 6 shampoos. :D FB friend got banned for bullying ?? her post was for a dog shelter . It read "beautiful little dog" blah blah, but they picked on the words "Beautiful little dog" Something is very wrong with their censoring??? Looking forward to catching up with friends tomorrow so I had better get to bed so I can be bright eyed and pussy tailed  Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D Goodnight Mr Major x :D

Deborah, if it's a blue helicopter dragging a bucket, it lives here in our bay, returned home about 5.30pm last night when we were sitting on our deck, he often is involved in fire fighting activities.

"tanks" here Dot,
Good night for last night and hello for today from us in the Dysart Bunker.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
