Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Wow Deborah hope you are warm and dry. We had a few rain drops but not enough to wet the ground. Just in case some of us forumites and were or still are members of the CF I have been told that Cliff Elwers aka Toff passed away a few days ago from the dreaded big C. He only found out a few months ago there was nothing that could be done, so RIP Toff. He was my escort to my stunt on T1 at a caravan get together in Kerang many years ago. Never got any pics of that either  House next door had the cleaners in and out and now the sign on the front door says "House cleaned" Guess the owners will be in soon. Suppose the fence quote will be next.... Time to say goodnight everyone :D x Goodnight Vic351 :D x. Stay safe everyone, looking more like a lockdown again.

Dot, look forward to finally having a neighbour in the house next door. Hope they are nice people. xxxx

Bathurst saga continues. Today we had to be in allocated hall by 9am. Where we sat and fiddled around waiting for the delivery of our already paid for tables....no tables no stall. After many phone calls and annoying conversations, our tables arrived at 3;15 We set the tables upright and started to put things on the tables when the phone rang. Show organiser has just noticed our caravan is where she wants customers to park. She demanded that we move it...like we have been here since Wednesday and she could have said something while we were waiting for table man. His nibs followed her to see where she demanded that we move to and told her he would do that after we set up our stall.

Stall finally set up and then we had to pack up the van and move to the back of the grounds. The only power source is 10amp and the water is set at such a high volume that we assume it is meant for washing cattle. We could finally stop at 8 pm and have our afternoon tea. Happy? no
This market had better be very profitable is all I am saying.

pleasant dreams xxx
Deborah

Quiet today, as I thought quote for 1/2 fence arrived, it can wait. Heading across town tomorrow to catch up with Phil and Ann and of course Miss Mia, Have the sprinklers going as the week is heating up to the high 30's. We ain't used to that kind of heat..Q/ What do people like the best for a couch / chair. leather or fabric? Seems some of the cp managers / owners are little dictators, Should of gestured to your ears and yelled WHAT you want to make love???? (noticed I used nice lingo)? Off to bed soon so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D . Care on the roads and get well if you are crook x.

It's now goodnight from me. Had a few late starts the past couple of mornings, and today drove down to the sons place and met the newest and bestest grandson.
So I have had a wonderful day.
I hope it doesn't get too hot in SA. Stay away from people and travel safe. :D
Cheers

Dot, my preference is for a cotton velvet lounge. Don't think I have seen any for a few years. The leather always looks good, if you keep rubbing fancy conditioners into it. stinking hot and slimy in summer and cold in winter. I would love to return to the old lounges that we had made, of cotten velvet, back in the 1980's.  xxxx

Today we had a lot better time. The sales were enough to pay the table costs, so tomorrow it will be all profit/glass money. Had a delicious kebab for lunch, so dinner was a piece of toast and a yoghurt. While we were eating our toast, the phone pinged with a message from the organiser. Instead of a 9am start tomorrow, she wants us to be ready to trade by 8 am. Good luck with that.

Last night we were kept awake until 3am by a load of truckies, who were coming for a truck show. His nibs comment was "they look too pretty to get dirty on the roads"

Busy day Deborah, Those platters are beautiful. I was a good girl today, got up and baked apple cinnamon, and boysenberry muffins. Showered then off to Phil & Ann's aka Mottlemob place, hitched the trailer onto the little suzuki and off we went, got a couple of k's from home when I realized my fangs were still at home so back we go, fang up and away again  We have never seen such the amount of traffic at all. From Mt Barker to Phils , chock a block all the way and the same home, Took 1 hr 45mins. I even got to see the "missing fickled finger of fate"  Watched the Delta Goodrem Xmas show only to see my favorite singer Andrea Bocelli the last on of course. I was really peed off because Delta wailed and wobbled along with him but also seemed to sing over him. Why do the singers have to wail and wobble songs that should be left as they were originally, I thought Xmas was mainly for little kids and to sing along but not a show in hell when that crap is on. End of rant :) Oh no it aint, I saw a waeco car heater/cooler advertised on Marketplace for $45 so I put SOLD . next thing the seller says "Sorry wrong price now $145, when you pick up?" Cnr Hinely St and ? street, a bit suss for a pick up, Hinley st hmmmm. Told her she should not put the price up after she accepted my " Sold "and no thank you. So many A hole scammers these days. That now means Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D

Dot, scammers everywhere. Shame that some people are not so honest these days. xxxx

Bernie, how old is that crap myrtle? Looks beautiful. Ours is so slow growing that they it's almost painful.

Had a long, slow day here today. All the stall holders had the same experience, so not too disappointed. We decided to re-book for next years show in November and hope all this covid stuff will be a thing of the past.

The show n shine only lasted a few hours and none of those people came anywhere near our pavillions. This is a few of their vehicles.
