Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Nothing yet David, I am warming up over the ABC News about the overseas new settlers whinging about them not having public transport to their non existent jobs but if they had a car to go find jobs it would be really good. Albury / Wodonga has more transport than many other places, How will they get their licences if unable to speak the bloody language? Oh that's right they have been supplied a car or two to get their licences WTF? I lived in a small towns ie Merrigum and Beechworth Vic there was no public transport there, you rode a pushbike or walked and no government handouts either. And to top that off I am white. Will that do it?

Dottie,
That’s still the case in Rutherglen.
One bus a day to Corowa about 0900, with a return run about 1700… unless you’re a student at a school with its own school bus/buses. But that’s still only one in & one back daily.
Tough t!tties if you have a medical appointment in the middle of the day, and no car.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Ya missed the "whinging pom/Kiwi" Dottie  The ex to be son in law that became a daughter in law, whinged his/her tits off about no longer having a carso wouldn't be able to find a job .... we had given them the car for 2 yrs, paid the rego and insurance and copped multiple parking fines that we had to redirect to him/her to sort ..... so it isn't just the overseas settlers .... although this one was a pommie import so ......
When they cam for a visit, because he had only recently paid the parking fines so he could get his/her licence back, the car hire fee went through the roof ..... naturally, we had to pay for that as well ..... not sorry to see that relationship finally fall apart I can tell you .....

Yeeeesssss, sort of the Chinese curse thing, in some parts, extremely entertaining ... not in others though ..... That old question, if you had the chance to start again, would you change anything? .... Without a moments hesitation ...... So many things that the flow on effect resulted in a "less than optimal" outcome. Staying at school and putting in more effort from kindergarten onwards would be one of them ....
