Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

My thought for today is for the poor little 9 year old murdered by her mothers boyfriend and dumped in a barrel near a river. And for the grandmother who must be suffering terribly after allowing the poor girl to spend time with her deranged drug addicted mother, not knowing this would happen. Time for the death penalty to be introduced for certain crimes of violence, the PC woke approach just isn't working.

"tanks" here---N.P.
Cause of death, other criminal activity involved, the mothers part in this, any others involved.

A lot of trouble with "let the parent" have the child is the PC brigade and "IT is their right BS" I agree bring back the death sentence for 100% guilty. and also for anyone that assists.

Dot, NSW child protection is the pits and they are totally incompetent and incredibly PC. Had dealings with them 3 decades ago when my ex left, she wanted them to live with her, they wanted to live with me but family and community services not only put them with their mother, but demanded supervised visits with me. That lasted until their mother deserted them and went to england on a holiday and left the at my place whilst I was away playing, community services tried to have me charged with neglect, but the judge after hearing the kids version against the community services wishes who said the kids would be to traumatised to by honest and probably coached by me. The judge abused the women from community services and gave me full custody, my kids stayed with me until they moves out to their own lives. They had nothing to do with their mother until I moved home to Tas, then the tide turned and their mother moved into their lives, the rest is history.

I'm not holding much hope the courts will be tough on these kid killers, she was dead for 2-3 days before she was reported missing, but they will probably get lean sentences being useless junkies as an excuse.

NP,
It seems you got the rough end of the pineapple.
Not good for the kids either.
At least you ended up with them…

Dottie, with you on the death penalty for a-holes like this.
The usual reason for murdering a young girl like this is to prevent her blabbing about sexual abuse.
Maybe as a precursor to the execution, the nice policeman from the Dog Squad should let his offsider gnaw on his vitals for a while.

Life in Jail
But put them into the "General Population", then "someone" lets the others know just what they're in for.
I can guarantee life wouldn't be easy and maybe not too long for them.

Been out all day and just heard the news re the thing that killed that little girl. As expected he will be doing the "mental health " excuse along with the so called mother. no sympathy at all for junkies and their lame excuses. I would volunteer for the jab job. no 2nd thoughts. Before that happened I would let the childs parents, grandparents have a 15 minute visit, no cameras. no security people and let the chips fall where they may then put them in general population for a night then if IT was still alive, I would do my bit. That is my thought for today.

I believe that’s the case, Ron.
Child abusers & killers are fair game in the general population of prisons. Apparently the inmate who disposes of them gains considerable cred with the others.
Brutal, but understandable.

Thought for today...
“I counted my years and found that I have less time to live from here on than I have lived up to now.
I feel like that child who won a packet of sweets: he ate the first with pleasure, but when he realized that there were few left, he began to enjoy them intensely.
I no longer have time for endless meetings where statutes, rules, procedures and internal regulations are discussed, knowing that nothing will be achieved.
I no longer have time to support the absurd people who, despite their chronological age, haven't grown up.
My time is too short: I want the essence, my soul is in a hurry.
I don't have many sweets in the package anymore.
I want to live next to human people, very human, who know how to laugh at their mistakes and who are not inflated by their triumphs and who take on their responsibilities.
Thus, human dignity is defended and we move towards truth and honesty
It is the essential that makes life worth living.
I want to surround myself with people who know how to touch hearts, people who have been taught by the hard blows of life to grow with gentle touches of the soul.
Yes, I'm in a hurry, I'm in a hurry to live with the intensity that only maturity can give.
I don't intend to waste any of the leftover sweets.
I am sure they will be delicious, much more than what I have eaten so far.
My goal is to reach the end satisfied and at peace with my loved ones and my conscience.
We have two lives and the second begins when you realize you only have one.
