The only time I have any trouble posting pics on this forum is if it is too big. I have a Samsung phone and just resize the pic so that no side is longer than 1000 pixels and all is good. I often put pics from farcebook on here. I have a free program called Irfanview on the 'puter that I use for resizing.
It is pretty simple to use.
Edit. Fixed basic spelling error

Still no pix…
No avatars.
No emojis. (Even on other people’s posts! Just a gap in text where it should be.)
Can’t post my pix. Everything progresses as normal. Tap “place inline”, then ‘submit’… but when it switches me to the ‘normal’ view the words are there but not the pix. ???
Hmmm…
First time that’s happened.
Error message: SQL error — too many connections.
???
Just tried posting a non-emoji smiley. You know, the colon-hyphen-capital D one.
It disappeared from my post!
WTF???
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Good morning Ray,
I've been watching you!!! (& waiting)
Sometimes over night your ISP will flush their cache & suddenly everything will work ok again. Seems not the case for you.
I had a similar problem with Tanks a long time ago & that is why he hasn't got Tanks as his name any more.
Is it OK with you if I create a new user for your use to test with?
I've crawled all over your settings in Profile, Permissions, groups & other likely places and can't see where the problem lies.

Cache is like "storage bin".
Instead of the data having to be retrieved for the website sometimes it's easier for the ISP (Telstra, Optus etc) to store all of it on their own computers so that if another of their customers wants to see the same website it loads quicker & doesn't use up bandwidth all over the interweb.
Got it? OK, all good!
