A baby Eastern Brown Snake went to his Dad and said:-
“Hey Dad, is my venom very poisonous?”
“It sure is poisonous“ said Dad. “Our venom is the most poisonous of all snakes in the whole of Australia. Whatever you bite - it will die!!”
“You wouldn’t lie to me … would you Dad?” said the baby snake.
“Of course I wouldn’t son; ask your Mum, she’ll tell you the same as I have told you” said Dad.
“Hey Mum” said the baby snake. “I’m really REALLY concerned about how deadly my venom is”.
“Just like your Dad said … we are Eastern Brown Snakes darling … and our venom is extremely deadly - why do you ask?” enquired Mum.
Baby snake looked up at Mum with tears in his eyes and said …..
“I accidentally bit my tongue”
