Hi. 30mm of rain up here over two days. That is quite enough to settle the dust and water the garden. All packed up for a couple of days away to try out the new motorhome but the fluffy cat is very crook and we will have to stay home to look after it. Talk about cats ruling your lives.
Goodnight Dot.

Dot, just enjoy whatever you are doing mate xxxx
Last night we had huge rains, very heavy at times and at others, just a consistent noise. The rain gauge says that we have had an inch over night. That seems right too. Today it was heavy at times, but there were times in between showers, so the ground isn't totally saturated, getting close though.
Sister and I did a bit of retail therapy, but wanted to get home out of the rain, so didn't do more than just the local grocery shop. It's a new shop and has stocked a lot more interesting products that their older, smaller shop, so it was good to have a wander, especially as everyone else had stayed home. Yes, we wore our masks.
Kiln time, only 1 of the 2 wine bottles survived their bending, so will have to slow that schedule down a bit more. Tonight, another 2 wine bottles are getting flattened.
sweet dreams xxxx

Never went to town today, too hot for me plus wasn't feeling fit enough to face the unmasked morons in Ikea. Boys on bikes starting again soon but quite a few of the good oldies are retiring so will have to see what young bucks have nice ummm personalities.
.G bought me a new hand mixer as the usual one has started to make weird noises (I have been putting it in the dishwasher) Maybe not a good idea? Still no sign of a fence being erected. When painting an interior wall do you have to wash it over ? sugarsoap and do you have to sand the wall down at all before repainting? Have your bowling balls arrived yet Shirley? & Deborah are your handles in their right place? Time to say goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Tanks x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
How do you get banned for 29 days Dot? Sounds warm in your direction. xxxx
Not warm here and still raining heavily. It's on and off, but when it does get wet, it's heavy.
Both bottles failed in the fire last night. Another two are in there tonight with a revised schedule. I can't even give them away with cracks in them. The potential for a total break is too high.
Nothing happening here, so here's another thought Night all xxx

Still waiting on the new bowls to arrive Dot, I designed them picked colour, emblem etc., told 3-4 weeks, could extend to 6 weeks, couldn't bowl at present with all this rain, really looking forward to using them.
The sun has just made an appearance, good to see.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, you having an early night mate? Lucky you xxxx
Shirley, those bowls sound like a great positive thing for you to have expectations of the package. Are you able to track the delivery people? Wasn't that hint of sunshine lovely today?
We did see a moment or two of sunshine today and gee, it was good. I reckon we have moved our whole area to the tropics.
I had a chiro visit today, so that wiped out the rest of the day.
Fed a couple of wine bottles into the kiln to have their little necks bent and that was the day done.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Cheeky lady I am here but reading the BS from my NZ mate going through the corrupt legal institute, Her bros bent lawyer is now threatening to bankrupt her if she doesn't sign her land over to him in lou pf her owing him $$$$. She has never denied owing him but she cant pay him back because she cant sell dur to his demands and constant appeals. The judge in the last appearance said She should pay the costs that was awarded to her because her bro has NO $$ to continue his case. WTF. Corrupt corrupt corrupt. He is on his 9th lawyer (legal aid) and the one he has now is a no win no fee so every chance he gets to slap another stalling lie it costs him 0 but Sue has to pay as she owns property. Anyway it is time to hit the sack so goodnight Deborah x
Goodnight everyone x PS the council have been refilling out pot holed road today, I will be ringing the MP I spoke to and asking him when he thinks the road will be sealed with tar??? Wait for that one

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I'm not convinced our legal system is any better. The legal system feeds the legal system using someone else's money. We can't change it, and it's pretty hard to win.
You will have to hope that karma sorts that bloke out. Just sayin'.
