I agree with Jon's comment. It isn't a funeral no matter what Chairmn Dan chooses to call it. They recently had a similar event in St Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne for Andrew Peacock. He died in about April last year, and no service was possible because of covid.
The ABC are now calling it a public memorial service.

I don't see why either of the extremely well paid cricket players should get a state funeral which is paid for by tax payers. There are plenty of other people who have died and have done much more for society in general.

Going to town today I came across roadwork signs down from 100 to 80 -60-40-25 no bloody work being done. That was from home to Mt Barker. Hit the freeway and the same nearly all the way down the hill, no one doing the signed speed and only one part of the freeway actually had workers having lunch. Why don't the "workers" take the signs down when no work is being done?? Yet if you don't do that signed speed you get pinged? Petrol is $1.98.9 here in Strath but $2.23.9 in the city. On the news tonight they reported that "Shane Warne's coffin landed at Essendon airport at 8pm tonight," I thought he was coming back in a plane, Went to the cancer clinic shrink lady, had to show my vacc status, had a RAT test temp taken 36.3 then I was allowed to enter the premises. Seems like the way of road works now Dot. We got caught out in a couple of them on our way up. All way too slow to be real and no workers to be seen, it was wet weather rules! xxxx

Last night, after finally setting our stall up, we had a humungous storm. So computer was left off and we had a good sleep in 11 degrees off coolness. Today was another wet and cold day. The people stayed away in their droves. I did sell a few things, but not enough to get excited about. Happily, the first two sales of the day were of my most expensive pendants. That put a smile on the dial. They couldn't see the smile through the mask tho.

It was at that point that I realised that I could even poke my tongue out at rude people and they couldn't see it through the mask. So I did some very cheeky face pulling when people were ignorant.

I accidentally bought a jar of gluten free vegemite, super yucko. Check the labels.

Dot, my bowls arrived today, photo tomorrow, I'm super happy with same having designed colour, logo, grip, weight, they look awesome.
Deborah I am Celiac, I use to love Vegemite but GF Vegemite is terrible even it's consistency, I buy Mighty Might it is GF, I like it & am use to the change in taste, Bruce likes it too. Arnotts have introduced GF Scotch Fingers to their products, best GF biscuits on the market IMO, most GF biscuits aren't that good to eat.
