Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley, have you tried using one of those mechanical arm things. My FiL used one at the end of his bowling career with a fair bit of success.
Cheers

Deborah, Sounds like you had a pretty good sales day, better than 0. Which bowl did you sell? I still have a few necklaces if you want them? Go get em Shirley. Am watching the boys on bikes and the road they are going up is mind blowing gradient over 10% and that has been 12ks worth , I couldn't even crawl that far. G did a bit of painting today and a bit more to be done. This year we have only managed to get 2 apples off the tree, 1 a granny Smith and 1 golden delicious, not 1 red del to be seen. The tree is a 3 way and it is usually full of fruit, Actually all the fruit trees have been scarce this year. 1.3ks to go and they are now in the snow zone bbrrrrr. OK time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Peter & Sandra x :D

Deborah my new bowls are beauties, I'll try them playing tomorrow. We have a Gala day on today, I'm not playing, looks like it could rain sky full of grey clouds.

Dot just from the roll up, think I will play better again, certainly will try. :D

David, the arms are mainly for players who can no longer get down to bowl & dump the bowls, not good for grass greens certainly upsets the greenkepper & they get a letter re playing with an arm. Many players reckon the arms are an advantage owing to the fact that you never twist your arm, I believe up in Qld some clubs were saying should be seperate competitions.

Ray, no H on the end, Gala days are social days where other clubs are invited to send a team & to try to win some money 💰
We have plenty of Corellas, Sulphur Crested Cockeys, Lorikeets, Kookaburras, Mynahs, Magpies & Crows everyday. :D

Goodnight everyone.

Shirley , the FiL bowled mainly down along the Murray. He was starting to get mobility issues. I always thought the arm was an unfair advantage. Didn't realise they damaged the greens. The poor old fellow can hardly walk now and hasn't played for a few years.
Cheers
