Check out how far the truckies LED driving lights go for distance and road illumination, they wouldn't use them if they weren't better than the big H4 lights they replaced eh?

George,
Our Suzi has LED headlights. With them I can see further than I could with my Mini’s twin QH driving lights!

I wasn't specifically referring to car driving lights.

Changed VP lights to non ADR LED's, picked up at a mechanical as being too bright, inspector pointed out insurance companies are now using this as an out to deny claims. Just another angle to consider. Have sealed beams back in VP now, but haven't been anywhere for a couple of years anyway. Covid here 10.5K a day, pretty scary. Talking to one of the other cellarmasters of the wine society about next meeting, he told me he was at the hospital waiting for someone to vacate a bed so his covid could be treated.
