Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

NC George, yes we have decided to go with what we have had a great run with, the Mitsubishi and what sealed the deal is it fits in the same spot that the old one does. Sort of a busy day, Gman to the dentist, me to have the delightful mammogram, handed over my appointment card and I had left a number off my medicare number, then the lady asked my DOB, :? I told her but she laughed and showed me what I had put, 08/11/2022  I was just starting my time in the oven and yet here I was having the melons squashed . Machine these days is so much kinder. Then off to the GP for usual check up, cut my re-flux tab dose in half. BP good, so she said I should have a flu, tetanus, and whooping cough booster plus another Covid Booster . No immune system = 0 she advised me to have them so booked in for 3 jabs next week and the Covid booster booster at next appointment in 4 weeks..Good to hear you got home safely Deborah, men are so ummmm you know  Those road works that our dear council did along our road a couple of weeks ago :?: well all the gravel is now non existent and the pot holes are back to where they were, bumb twats. Rather tired so off to bed now Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Supersparky x :D

wow, anyone watching the Codes & Conspiracies ch 9 (rush) about the naughty Vatican dwellers? digging dead popes up dressing them , sitting them in a chair and putting them on trial, orgies, pope with at lease 10 kids, seems a trend setting tradition, right own to today's mob eg Pell. Man what a pack of rat bags . G went to have lunch with his daughter down in Victor harbor so I had a nice quiet day. Next door is still waiting for their yard to be concreted and the reo is still on our driveway, they took the temp fence down so the dog is taken outside but seeing out place is open it pops onto our place to poop, I think we have been more that good neighbors but letting the dog dump on our place is not on so G will have to say something. What is the matter with putting a lead on the dog and taking it for a walk???? It was cold last night and when the sun went down it really got cold. Off to bed now Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Derek x :D

Dot, it's time to start playing the bagpipes music, very loud. Your new neighbours may have to come visit and you can tell them that their dog isn't playing fair so why should you? xxxx

Glad that your new balls are making you smile Shirley. Hope that your scores keep improving too.

I had a chiro visit today and now my back is feeling a lot better.
This afternoon, was spent unpacking all the "new" glass that I bought from the glass artist in Armidale. There is an awful lot of it and most of it is clear. As every plate/bowl etc needs to be covered in a layer of clear glass, I use a lot of the stuff. I think it will be saving me a fortune, but there will still be times when I need to buy the fancy stuff. Thankfully, not for a while. Each piece was wrapped in fancy brown paper and had a slice of corflute between every piece. The pile of packaging will be dealt with tomorrow. I had had enough by the time I had homed all the bits of glass and no bandaids were needed. That's a plus.

sweet dreams out there xxx
Deborah

Dottie,
Last year, the owner of the block next door brought a builder around for a quote on a 2-storey unit.
Builder’s German Shepherd strolled over to our place (no fence), left us a gift, then returned to his master looking very pleased with himself. Builder ignored the whole episode.
So SWMBO marched over & gave him both barrels, demanding he clean up after his hound.
Looking very sheepish, he did.
Dog never re-offended during the 8-month build. 😜😄
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Ray when the next doors place was being built the builders also bought their dogs and they also pooped all around our place, when I did my walk around I would scoop the poop and put it all over the concrete slab for them to walk in. Nothing exciting today, heading out to Ashbourne tomorrow to weed mum and dad, it has been a couple of years since last done them but just so much has been going on, they won't mind at all. Time to do Brian's ear drops and hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Noggins x :D Hope you are well and truly better now.

Well, this brings to head a bit of news I've been putting off for a little while.

The "C", as far as we know, is in check, subject to a few more scans and tests.
Prostrate is the next problem and I'm going in for a biopsy soon to do a check on that bit. My brother had his removed recently, the Big "C" is in the family line and so far, apart from one, we have outlived everyone's age in both Mum and Dad's family lines.
On the last Van trip to Denmark, we both found that we weren't enjoying it anywhere near as much as we used to.
A few weeks after Denmark we did a week away with friends to a House stay and found it quite relaxing, and after getting back home, and a lot of soul searching we decided any future trips away will be either to cabins or fully catered for.
The decision was then made to sell the Van and then subsequently the Ranger.
Imagine emptying out both the Van of all the "must-have bits" and then the "stuff in and around Ranger, Stress to the Max!
The Ranger was snapped up by a friend here in the village to replace his aged 300.000k Prado V6 petrol drinker.
So that left the van.
Then a phone call one Sunday a week later and the van was sold for on the spot cash.
That left Phyl's little Mazda2, which looked like it might get a bit more usage < less than 30thou in 12 years, and that was mainly when Phyl's grandson borrowed it for a while when his car was laid up.
We bought an ex-demo Haval H6 SUV and now we have to get used to all the techno stuff it's loaded with.

The big decision was made easier with the fact that we'd already booked 2 fully catered trips, one later this year doing the Broome to Kunnunarra tour, which included the Horizontal Falls, Bungles and the Gibb River, it will be interesting to see how much it has changed since I did the Gibb in '79 with my sturdy HR holden wagon.
The trip, next year, is to SA, Adelaide, Barossa Valley, Mannum, River cruise, KI and then cruise back to Perth.
I was going to get in touch with you about that one and see if we could do a meet-up with a few distant friends from SA while we're over that way.

So that's the latest from here in WA.

All I can say is "good luck & just do it!""
We all run into THAT fence in due course I guess?
As for the get together I reckon "just try & stop us!"

Over to the planning dept!
Do you already have definitive days for the SA trip?
Are you sure you'll have spare days not allocated for the guided itinerary?
