Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Terry, what are they growing that uses so much power?

Shirley, couldn't find those glasses, just picked up the new ones. The spare set now in a safe spot.
My Terrie had a cataract in one eye, the surgeon put in a 1.5 lens in, she can see better than me now, apparently.
Dopes who don't have a clue and don't pay their own power bills at home I'm guessing ...... the adults are fine, the kids however, not a clue ....
The matriarch of the extended family has now removed all the heater element type appliances from the kitchen and the rest of the house, fancy thinking you can run a 2400w heater in the bedroom, x multiple bedrooms, with the doors open, then make a meal using the deep fryer, and air fryer and a toaster, and the lights, TV and auto start unduction motor water pump, all off 2 x 5000va inverters .... not once mind you, multiple times until one overheated and put all the load on the other one ...... The brain dead sparkie who wired the place put a 25 amp RCD for each inverter rather than the two inverters through the one RCD, then into a 63 amp RCD to the main circuit board .... no hope of overload protection from that end .... the overload alarms would have been screaming, but that is a storey below and under the house so they probably didn't hear them or simply ignored them .......

Today is day two of what I thought would be a 5 hr job, had to relocate everything on the boards to make room for the monster inverters and the 150/100 solar regulators .... didn't think about just how much bigger those thinks are, one on its own takes up the space of two MPP Solar 145/60 solar regulators ....... unfortunately the open circuit voltage from the solar arrays the solar people installed is up around the 110vdc, so the much smaller 100/50 solar controllers couldn't be used ....
Rewiring 6 runs of solar that fed 6 solar controllers so it feeds 4 solar controllers is proving to be a challenge as well ...... then programming and updating 6 Victron appliances in an area with crap internet coverage ........

Sounds like you have had a fun day today too. At least you recoup some of the cost by selling some of that surplus gear now. I wonder what the monthly power bill is at the usual residence. Who is paying for all this reworks?

Good morning everyone. We had a storm blow in right on dark last night. Dumped about 10mm of rain. Didn't get up to much during the day either. Slow but steady Bernie. You will get there. Dunno what the plan for today is yet. Looks like another beautiful day coming up. Safe travels if you are out and about.
Cheers

G went to the block to do a weed check. I am hanging out the washing. Ever so boring. Might be time for a nanny nap soon. Brian is still asleep. Take care everyone x

The temp is OK but no wind.
