Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Terry, Over the years, it hasn't really mattered what time you leave. Arrival at destination seems to be a complex equation of time which; like the Laws of the Universe and Time seem to have scientists and mathematicians equally baffled.

Maybe, the religious laws (aka Act of God) define the arrival time.
It doesn't matter where it falls when it comes to the amount of water that flows through SA ...... Albo reckoned this morning that he'd make sure the whole 400 giga litres makes it into SA rather than the 2 giga litres we have seen delivered ..... maybe he figures the big rain will fill all the farm dams and flood their paddocks so they don't need to pump the Murray dry ...
The water in the Murray at the moment just seems to move backwards and forwards, depending what direction the wind is blowing ...... the sediment is building up to point the ducks can land without getting wet

Departure time depends on how many last minute jobs have accrued waiting to fight for that last minute ..... arrival depends on what falls off and how long we can tag team drive ...... :D

You should never factor in arrival time. Something as simple as a flat tyre can stuff your day, if you aren't prepared it.

Good morning everyone. It is persistently falling down with rain here on the not so sunny shores of Lake Mulwala. Looks like another wet day timetable coming up. Didn't get up to much yesty, just set up our camp in the backyard.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

We never anticipate arrival time!
Usually because of unscheduled breaks for a cuppa, doggie 'comfort stops', human 'comfort stops'… :D :D

Rutherglen was bone-dry for the two weeks (minus a bit for Covid) we were away, but Nambucca Heads had pi$$ing down rain most of the time we were there!
Now we're home we're enjoying (?) pi$$ing down rain just about every day. Musta run over an Asian gentleman somewhere… :?
Regards & God bless,

We try to factor in that we will eventually arrive, we consider that a win if achieved

No rain today, it is Sounds By The River today, but on the golf course again this yr because of Covid crowd restrictions that were in place when the planning was taking place.
The river is the lowest I've seen it since we arrived here in Feb 2016, so none of the big wet has arrived here yet. The rock wall I've been building is now a few feet from any waters edge and there are mud islands with moss growing on top at least another 20 feet out .... just couldn't see them through the muddy water, but they must have been close to the surface to grow the green stuff on them.

Hopefully today will result in the installation of the second set of 4 panels to make the summer roof over the centre hatch and kitchen/dining area .... building suitable support legs proved more complicated than I'd anticipated .... but then it's probably classic over build causing the problem, the Hino solar array still stands on 25mm sq tubing lengths and it has been a lot of km without issue, including a trip to WA and back and a rush trip to Sydney and then to Taggerty and home
