Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, not moving to Africa in a hurry mate?   How's the bus packing going along? xxxx

Thanks for the advice re steroids. I have finally been able to get an appointment next Thursday to have it done. I am still peed off that the referring doc knew exactly what she was writing and that if she had written the referral correctly, I would have had the injection yesterday and some of the pain should have been gone by now.

I took some extra heavy duty pain killers last night with the intention of getting a long sleep in. The phone woke me at 8 and the damn thing kept ringing with important calls that could have waited, just a few more hours. Anyway, I am really going to get that sleep tonight

goodnight all xxx

Goodoh Dot. Now get out there and enjoy being a tourist xxxx

It was sort of raining today and sort of sunny, with a lot drizzly stuff and a few heavy showers. To describe it as weird, might be the best I can do. Because it was so weird, I decided to have an indoors day. It was nice to just watch the various showers come across the lake and also to see the idiots in their tinnies doing stoopid stuff. Always lots of free entertainment here. Every time that I started outside to chop off the many dead heads on my dahlias, the rain just became stronger. I went inside and it stopped. I think I was being told to stay inside.

Dot, that bus had better be warm mate xxxx

Another weird weather day, not quite as bad as yesterday, but still weird. I did a bit of shed time, so have a nice plate in the kiln for it's first fusing tonight. I managed to lose one earing in Mudgee last week, so have been trying to match the remaining one. I can't find any glass that looks identical. I then made a few pairs to sort of match them up. None of them will be a match or even a close match, to the single one that sits lonely on my bench. The trial ones are also in the kiln for a warm up. The ones that I don't want will easily sell, no problems there.

Lest we forget

Sounding like a cracked record here. Happy travels Dot xxxx

Weather is also being like that cracked record. Some nice patches, but the rest is crap.

The shed time yesterday paid off. I did manage to work out a replacement for the favourite earing, so now I am back to having a pair of purple/pink/green dichroic earrings. The platter from yesterday is now being slumped into a mold to get it some decent shape. I experimented with a couple of pendant designs that have been wandering round my head and think they will need a few more days of experimenting, before they will be ready to fire.

Dot, no gravel pit tonight? Stay warm mate. xxxx

Sorry Ray, the mood was not there for pics, maybe tomorrow.

We spent a lot of today trying to sort out our solar hot water that is not hot. The sparky who came is not our usual man, so am not sure if he is right or not. He is from the same company, so have to try to trust him. He reckons the element has probably burnt out. He changed some fuses/safety switches and said if it aint hot tomorrow, it will need the element replaced. I thought the sun did most of the heating and the element only came on at night when the sun isn't doing enough. But the water we have been getting is only luke warm, so maybe he is right. Sun has not been working very much here. Tomorrow will tell. Luckily we have a caravan with shower down the bottom of the block and bad luck if the neighbours are looking when I do a nighty run.

Still fiddling with that jewellery idea, so put a couple of wine bottles into the kiln to get flattened tonight.

night all xxx
