Tanks I suggest you grab one of those baby inverters that plug into your ciggy socket so you can charge the little units while you're travelling. You don't get very long per charge.
About time car makers installed one in all new cars. (inverter)

Bruce,
Lots of new cars have USB ports built in now.
A 240v inverter might be too much of a drain on the already overworked 12v battery… unless they all switched to Lithium.

Re: Good morning daily
"tanks" here---Bruce,
The kit has a car charger as well as a 240 volt charger, and can also use AA batteries if the lithium one packs it in. The 'blerb' claims 4 to 5 hours transmit and around 16 hours stand-by, but you don't believe all you read once you turn 80.
It also has an earpiece and throat type mic plus a FM radio built in, although the FM radio is reported to be of poor quality .
All in all; not bad for $110 ish.

I was thinking that one of these would be ideal for our Dot to have in her little car for when she is driving George to Adelaide.
She can call up the truckies and blast them for using bad language, and tell them to get out of her way. She could also let them know that she is a woman driver so as they could take extra caution.

Re: Good morning daily
Another late good morning from me. It's pack up day, we will be on the move tomorrow to visit a few mates then off to Taggerty on Thursday. Looks like that croc didn't get a real good hold Bernie. Hope whatever that is on your back clears up soon. It's another bright sunny day at Mulwala.
Hope to see a few of our members over the weekend.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
It is not 23:59 yet so still time for today. They will get to at least Murray Bridge before running out of fuel as I checked. At least 30 ltrs. That should help those in the poll for the distance they travel before running out.

Morning everyone.
I went to the doctor yesterday and had some of the "stuff" removed from the Sebaceous Cyst.
It had formed 5 heads....a bloody big one....doctors words.
I'm drugged up with anti biotics' three double dose's . Another visit to said doctor at 8.30 this morning, hopefully to have it cut out.
We had drizzle most of yesterday 10 and a bit mm.
Still to unload the motorhome of its contents.
Keep dry if your out west of Qld. Lara Waters is closed with many a camper bogged.
Bernie.
