Was thinking of dead locks at one stage but didn't like the idea of drilling through the door.

A wise person once said to me, "If you can't drill it, you don't own it!"

Wrong spot, measure 2 two times, drill once. From an old aussie, even older than me.Kelvin12 wrote:Bet he said a lot more when he realized he drilled it in the wrong spot.

Actually that's a bit of a joke up here concerning me, there is an add on the TV, local timber merchant says the same thing. In my case its measure 6 times and still stuff the bloody thing up. Need to wear glasses more often......

Slightly off topic, about drilling. The child bride bought a front entrance door, big thing with stained glass. Stepson got the job of staining it (many times).
Well its the ladys birthday, stinking hot arvo and I get the command to fit the dam door. now this house has the rear door and the front sliding door on the same wall. So this great big door is going on the laundry opening that has the cat litter tray and the dirty clothes basket inside.
Fitted the bloody door mid afternoon, nup to tight. Sweating like a pig, sharpened the old chisels and rebated the three hinges, door fits.
Now fit the huge complicated lock system.
Sorry, sleeping in the dog house tonight.
