Mick, yep, 833 litres worked out on the external measurments, do you know the internal size?

12mm wall thickness gives you about 763 lts, a few showers in there :) :) Does it have baffles? cause they will reduce the capacity as well, if they are also 12mm each cross section baffle will be about 5 litres

With the weight of the tank and fittings added, around 800kg, hope the mounts are strong enough. The weight is down low so it will help with stability, the bus will hardly notice it as long as it doesn't put you over weight.

It may be an optical allusion in the photo, but the height of the tank looks to be about a third of the width, are you sure about the dimensions? :shock:

Stainless 12mm thick? I hope you're joking!!!
By the look of the bottom distorsion I'd reckon 3mm at the most.
Too big & too heavy for my liking.

I think it's molded plastic, can't see any weld pattern. Stainless tanks are easy to clean but the have a nasty tendancy to crack along or close tothe welds, particularly the corners, the twisting stresses the heat effected zone and it cracks.

the hight was wrong should be 400mm not 500mm like i had, it said on email that it was around 590l this is the second plan i had , the orig was 1700 500 980 , thats were the confusion is :) the extra 100mm was guna hang down below bin level
