Morning all. Late start.
Looks like it's going to be freezing in SA and Vic next week. Better stock up on wood and dounuts.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Thank you all for the rain you have sent ..... a drizzle at the moment but it sounds like a lot of rain on the workshop roof
Hopefully we will get enough to fill the water tanks, even the mozzies are complaining about over crowding in our tanks at the moment

Re: Good morning daily
Hi all,
Had to fit a isolation valve in the cold water line to the Truma hot water system as the system it has failed and flooded the 5'er. Left Ca$$ino this morning and now at Warwick Qld. Staying o'nite at the Ampol truck stop then to Jandowae tomorrow for the 28th Birthday bash of the Highway Wanderers. Lots of potholes in the Mt Lindsey Road but their working on it. Seems they fill one hole it rains and two more appear.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
Peter, did the stainless tank split on your Truma or did one of the fittings rust away? I've heard a few complaints about the tank splitting. Take care on the roads. Some of those potholes are pretty big.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
Peter do you have a pressure reducer on the main water inlet ?
Some towns have pressure up around 85psi. I've see a couple of house boats with flooded floors.
I have my reducer set at 40psi.

Morning all.
Same here Bob but only 3 and a smidgen in the gauge.
Finally have the cable through the roof, multimeter showed 66 volts with total cloud cover, and when a crack appeared in the cloud it hit the early 70s. Happy so far
Still to be routed through to the controller.
I had a BIG sleep-in this AM.
Have two tubes of Dicor Dave.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It was a lovely day yesterday, for a few hours, then the rain came back. Same as the rest of SEQ I suppose. Showers then heavy rain. The grass is liking it.
There is nothing wrong with a sleep in, Bernie.
Had some more blood tests yesty, that's always fun.
Looks like another shed day coming up.
Stay safe and dry everybody.

The dreaded roadway cancer or malignant pothole syndrome. Eventually the whole piece has to be cut out to fix the underlying problem of water running through the road base.pet-els wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 3:42 pm Hi all,

The high costs of the highway miles will be a big topic at the birthday bash I reckon, our trip to Taggerty, then Canberra, Wollongong and the quick trip home near broke the bank. Need to hurry up and recover so we can refill the hole in the bank balance.

Re: Good morning daily
This workshop sure is a cold place this early in the morning. Please send more rain, the tanks are still near empty.
Have a customer dropping her van off for a new inverter after the old one turned up it's toes, so had to make it an early drop off so we could get to Adelaide on time.
Off to the RAH today for my check up after the op and find out when Margaret can start cracking the whip in a serious fashion rather than the near dead horse flogging being dished out at the moment, gotta get enough back in the account to pay for my new hearing aids .... seems they only live for 5 yrs at best over here in the hot sweaty summers ..... a dry heat be buggered
