Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ever start one of those job and half way through with the area looking like a hurricane is still in full swing, you wish you hadn't been so gung-ho at the beginning and just said in the true oka style "yeah-nah" ...... I found the wires that I cut through with the hole saw while trying to feed the new 2.5mm cable to the hot water, hair dryer powerpoint and washing machine, only one cable goes to the air conditioner, through a hole in the steel square section and reappears at the air conditioner out of another piece of square steel section that goes side to side to hold the walls apart and hold the air conditioner up ..... so that will require its own circuit and circuit breaker from the power board .... no idea where the second cable at the air conditioner goes but also vanishes into the square steel section. The second cable I cut through goes to the central power point they had used as a junction point for 5 cables, it goes through the ceiling cavity at the rear but goes down towards the floor at the power point end .... the third wire has vanished into the steel square section that makes up the caravan frame, none of these holes with the cables running through have any form of protection to stop the steel cutting through the cables. I also have a cable running to the power board area that doesn't seem to go anywhere .....
I'm just hoping the sparkie that signs off on my work is ok with the extent of the rewire and the cables running through conduit across the van roof ... other wise I'm screwed .....

Rang the sparkie, apparently the orange conduit is for under ground and is not UV proof, so poor Margaret has had to do a dash to Adelaide the pick up black UV certified conduit. He was happy with my verbal explanation of what I've done so far, just need to get it finish for Saturday so he can come and do the earth tests etc.
Managed to thread the 2.5mm sq cable through the roof cavity and through to the power box, saves more holes in the roof and conduit outside. Managed to pull all the crook cables out, a few with the outer white layer and insulation rubbed through a touching the steel body frame, I guess part of the reason the previous inverter let the smoke out and the strange continuity readings I was getting .... on the finishing stretch now I think.

Evening all,
found the fault in my vitron inverter, water had got into the remote and shorted it out. New remote arrived while we were doing it [for someone else but they don't need it till next week, lucky me].
Safely parked up in Bill Prime's back yard but the rain won't stop.

Boys are good Helen, Jacob the lad that you met is into scooter riding at the skate parks now, always wanting me to take him to The Entrance or Bateau Bay skate park because they are the best locally if I could call that local.  he started high school this year, he'll be 12 next month. They have also taken to fishing from our inflatable, we need to buy them a tinie.
Daniel the youngest 7, just loves spending time with Grandpa.
Newcastle itself is becoming a real tourist centre, the redevelopment is amazing & so many things are being held in the city.
Hopefully I'll bowl tomorrow, Thursday we are playing Halekulani Club, we play them every year for a shield, just a local competition.

"tanks" here--- This is another one from my WA mate:-

A judge was interviewing a woman regarding her pending divorce, and asked,

"What are the grounds for your divorce?"

She replied, "About four acres and a nice little home

in the middle of the property with a stream running by."

"No," he said, "I mean what is the foundation of this case?"

"It is made of concrete, brick and mortar," she responded.

"I mean," he continued, "What are your relations like?"

"I have an aunt and uncle living here in town, and so do my husband's parents."

He said, "Do you have a real grudge?"

"No," she replied, "We have a two-car carport and have never really needed one."

"Please," he tried again, "is there any infidelity in your marriage?"

"Yes, both my son and daughter have stereo sets.

We don't necessarily like the music, but the answer to your questions is yes."

"Ma'am, does your husband ever beat you up?"

"Yes," she responded, "about twice a week he gets up earlier than I do."

Finally, in frustration, the judge asked, "Lady, why do you want a divorce?"

"Oh, I don't want a divorce," she replied.

"I've never wanted a divorce. My husband does.

He said he can't communicate with me!!
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. Its good to be home and sleep in your own bed. Bandit was pretty happy to see us too. Twas a cool enough night, but no rain. Will check the gauge when the sun is up. The little Tilta trailer is on the list for today. Needs a few repairs after our last trip. Some of the potholes we encountered didn't do it much good. Have a top day everyone.
Safe travels all those lucky enough to be out and about.
Cheers
