Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Once they master induction charging and total bluetooth connectivity so all phone inputs are via a remote bluetooth link, then they could be just like my new hearing aids water proof enough to shower and swim if I wanted to wear them while doing either ..... I can actually answer the phone by a double tap near my ear, and hang up that way as well, but a video call is still not possible so I can't read my Farcebook or other social media while swimming or in the shower

At least the local residents weren't excluded ....... It appears it's a noise issue and not a weight limit on the road, just because the truck is locally owned doesn't make the thing weigh less and do less road damage ..... Interesting test case to see what happens if one of the locals drives a B double road train combination and parks it up the side of his house ..... need a really long block though  the max length is 53 mtrs and weigh up to 147.5 tonne .... it would be interesting watching it being backed out onto the road again

Terry, I think Ray was pointing out the use of the wrong word.

Mind boggling thought for today.
Every day, more than 110 Americans are killed by guns and more than 200 are left injured.

That's about 20,000 deaths and 36,000 injuries so far this year.
from here: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-07-04/ ... /101192746

that's nuts.
