Good morning everyone. Its 17 here on the GC. Looks like another fine day ahead. Plenty of action with bin trucks this morning already. Just about to head off on the morning walk.
I will have to figure out the work program by myself today, Terrie has been called in to work. Don't reckon I'll get up to much. Happy birthday Julie. Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Good morning daily

The catch there is they might give you a reward and an Australian Honours thing if you aren't real careful about which pollie you shoot ..... or maybe just a "justifiable homicide" if the judge and jury have a sense of humour. The only way around that is to shoot and kill a pollie everyone likes ....... good luck finding one of those.Keith Morris wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 7:18 am WHEN YOU GET OLD.
If you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself and need Long-Term Care, but the government says there is no nursing home care available for you, what do you do?
You may opt for Medicare Part G.
The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You may then shoot one worthless politician. This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the health care you need.
Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That's great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart? They are all covered!
As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now! And, who will be paying for all this? The same government that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a nursing home.
And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it. And now, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income taxes! Is this a great country or what?
Now that you have solved your senior Long-Term Care problem, enjoy the rest of your week!
The 21st Century social media method:
Select the nursing home you want to live in, set up squatters rights in one of the better rooms and you will be a celebrity for a while. Set up go fund me account to continue your fight to stay where you want to spend your last day/yrs rest of your life, and you will be so memorable that no one will be game to shift you from your chosen spot.
The go fund me page means you will have plenty of money to shout you and your new found friends to all the things you'd all enjoy but aren't allowed to do at the nursing home .... I'll be watching for you on the news Tanks

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning good folks.
I had another lazy day, still a bit giddy from the vertigo.
BUT today I feel normal....or is that abnormal
So with a bit of luck I may get those last three stirrup's done.
The BOSS won $50 at bingo ...not that I will see any of it.
Did you have a ride in the Rodeo Helen
Keep safe out there.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Another top day on the cards here. Shortest day/longest night of the year, so it's onward and upward from here. Good luck with your shed Bernie, that vertigo can be a real nuisance. Saw lots of pelicans and cormorants on the walk yesty. Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning All. We took Leonie and Dilan to Sydney airport yesterday afternoon and said goodbye to them as they headed off to the UK for a couple of years then called in on my 2nd son, daughter in law and grandson for dinner at a pub in Surry Hills before heading home after peak hour traffic had subsided, arriving home at 10:30pm. I have the job of persuading a looker to buy Leonie's motor scooter this morning.

Good morning 8c sun shinning, off to bowls today.
George my nephew went to England about 15 years ago for a couple of years, only been back for holidays, does say he might come home to live one day, hope Leonie & Dilan enjoy their time over there, it is so close to pop over to the continent & visit other countries.
Happy belated Birthday to Julie, trust she liked her present
