I had a rest day after yesterday just folded the washing and put away. G finished the pruning of the fruit trees so hoping for a much better crop this year. Brian's nails are next thing to get done before I hit the sack. Time to say Goodnight everyone x Goodnight 2'6" x

After many different phone calls, I finally got to talk to the kiln man. Took the controller back to him and he will need a couple of days to have a look at it and do some test runs before he is sure it is fixed. He also said that the kiln may have a relay built into it as well. If the controller seems ok, the kiln will need to be looked as well. ggrr

After a lovely lunch at Swansea RSL, we came home and did very little. I had a progress meeting to attend, so dinner was a couple of crumpets n honey. No dramas here and no time for the shed.

1130 — Home to prepare for lunch
1230 — Demo the Sous Chef (Thermomix) for two friends — Chicken & Leek Risotto.
1600 — Farewell our lunch guests & clean up.
1900 — Dinner: Cheese & Salami toasties.
2345 — Bedtime!

Good sort of day, traffic was good, had the usual fun filled treatment with physio pleasure and pain Had a nice email from the dick copper that was in on the very first raid on my friends nasty brother and his drug operation. He had been sent my letter I had sent to the office of the chief Justice asking why my name was on my original letter to the police commissioner asking for help and giving information to assist the coppers. In other words I was considered a "witness"
I have put most of his letter for you to read and the link he sent was explanatory, so I am happy with that.. I replied to him and asked if he would call in when he was going past Sues place as she thought a lot of this man and his concern for her.. It was my Clayton's daughter (copper)in NZ that put me onto the right person to contact as Sue was getting no where. Anyway it is bed time so stay safe everyone. Did RAT tonight and all good. Dear Mrs Beaumont (Dot)
As you know we executed a search warrant at Sue's address not long after receiving your letter and ultimately charged Hitchcock aka Bateman with various criminal offences.

Your letter therefore became subject to the "Criminal Disclosure Act 2008" (Please see the below link) and with redactions was disclosed to Hitchcock aka Bateman and his council as part of that disclosure.

Your letter was essentially treated as a witness statement albeit hearsay, we were not able to withhold it under the disclosure exemptions.

Should Mr Bateman make any form of threat, intimidation or contact with you please advise me directly.

As you are aware he is known to both Police and the justice sector but we have no evidence to suggest he is a threat. (Excluding the civil matters he has and continues to put Sue through).

Today I went to see a bone specialist. After the long drive to see her and the usual long wait in the waiting room, she was very interesting. Basically, most of my problems are uncle arthur related. The bursitis is just an added bonus for being female. She claims that 80% of her female patients get bursitis during their later years. She also gave me the all clear to travel , with the proviso that I continue to do the physio exercises and that we take a walking break every hour on long trips. Basically, it was good to have a starting point with her, as now I have set in motion the markers for her to watch and to be ready for treatment when it does become necessary. She was very conservative in her thinking and I left her surgery feeling ok about all that she said.

Not much else happened today as we too tired to care about anything else.

Spoke to my Claytons daughter (copper) in NZ this arvo re the new rules I was sent, she checked up and said after those drug gang raids she was recently involved in she and her husb will be resigning from the "normal" police work and will be now working with kids but still has to be a normal cop 1 week out of 4. She also said with the new rules she will not be making any statements under her real name, too dangerous now. Anyway nothing exciting has happened today so I reckon it is time I had my shower and hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Jd x (stirrer)

Cops in NZ are having the same sorts of issues that our lot are also having Dot. Nephew has just decided that he wont be returning to the force. He has PTSD so severe that he reckons one more fatal car crash or domestic would be the end of him. They are really earning their money now. Take it easy xxxx

Today was a visit to the physio, so no more extra trips. There just are not enough hours in the day anymore. Tomorrow we will probably go fetch the kiln controller and give it another whirl. I don't really think it will work, but time will tell and I have been wrong once or twice before.

Tomatoes prices have gone to the ridiculous here. When I decided that tomorrow night I will cook up a large chooken and have a few meals off it, the tomatoes had to be eaten tonight or risk them going off. At these prices there was no choice. I fried them all up , smothered them in melted cheese and served on toast. Delicious, no waste and a vegie meal with no meat for a change.
