Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. The garden is loving this bit of rain. We have had 20mm up to 10pm last night. Achieved a total of nothing yesty and will possibly do the same today. We were going to the footy, but not in this weather.
Have a good day everybody, stay safe and dry.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
Only 19c this morning at 08:00 am.
Full cloud cover for the past few days.(I can't find the Sun button). Dysart has continuous light rain with the occasional heavy shower since yesterday; much the same as Bernie is reporting.
The bloke on the TV says this will be the situation for the next week with flood warnings for the lower SE Qld area and Northern NSW. Those people have had enough.
I started reading through another PETER WATT novel to pass the time. This author is Australia's Wilbor Smith and is level with Bryce Courtney as far as his research of the topic is concerned. He writes of our history in a novel setting.

A friend in WA sent this joke for today to me.

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super."

On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic-looking woman hadn't moved a muscle. "Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground."

She calmly turned her head and said, "In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one."

To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, "Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you.
Tray-up, Bitch."

Good one Keith, Bruce had a laugh too.

Good afternoon 12c, extremely cloudy & continual moderate rain, we can't even see up the lake.

Spent the morning listening to the tales from the Mauritius holiday, certainly enjoyed the holiday but not the long flight 33hrs.
