Anyone looked at this prime piece of crap yet ?
If I was cynical (who me ?) I would say it was a gubbermint sanctioned peice of "infotaintment" just to let you know how much they can control you !
But as I am so level headed I must conclude that it is a government sanctioned program to tell us how much they can control us.
Both scenarios frightening !

Same here, the saturation promotion told me they didn't even have faith it would last a whole season.
We watched that other rather well orchestrated show "Beauty and the Geek" that at least had a few heart warming moments in it .... but a lot of the "Beauty" stuff was clearly scripted and not well rehearsed judging by the presentation by a few, but the Geek part in general sounded a lot more "from the heart" but the usual jumping around, arm waving and looking artificially excited spoils these shows for me ..... not sure how other feel about that sort of thing .....

As an ‘active retired geek’ I have an interest level of zero or lower when it comes to those artificially constructed ‘reality’ shows like Beauty and the Geek, Farmer Wants a Wife, Married at First Fright, Ninja whatever it was, Bogan Tour Guides, etc.
This applies in spades for Big Brother!

Last night I was subjected to a serious TV show called Hunted. Supposed to be a serious show about fugitives in Victoria who have to hide for few weeks without being found. I had a great laugh as the scripting and editing was pathetic. They showed an aerial view of a fugitives vehicle heading to Geelong but the vehicle was on the south eastern freeway heading in the wrong direction towards Dandenong. One of the of fugitive women were caught in Geelong in a very orchestrated manner for the cameras, I think Australian TV could do a lot better, but on the other side of the story crews are getting work. So for a good laugh at a supposedly exciting action drama I say watch it, more so if you know Melbourne other wise read a book.
