Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
It's blowing a gale up here now. I just had to go and tie up the windchimes. They were getting pretty noisy. Rain coming soon I think. Nothing intelligent on TV at this hour.
Cheers

Dot, they are called Spiders, those with the single at front and two wheels at the rear are called Trikes.Dot wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 12:26 am Nothing at all done today apart from cuddling my pussy. Too cold to do much of anything . BOB's back on tonight, less than a week to go nowLove the motorbikes (Yamaha's) that are being used they have 2 wheels on the front and 1 wheel on the back. Need to get some warmer weather soon, this cold is so depressing. Off to bed now so take care you lot. Goodnight everyone x

Peter,
I just informed SWMBO of that earth-shattering information.
She was so excited to learn that gem, that I was given a stare of complete indifference.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I would love one of those motorbikes,Thanks Peter, Ray don't take SWMBO seriously Ray I bet she would really love one as well. 11% grade of the mountains today wow. Nice sunny day and I did nothing worth talking about. Radiator man rang to say the bus is ready, he said the radiator was filthy (probably from the WA trip to Mt Augustus) I have MRI tomorrow (Mt Barker) and G has a dental appointment here is Strath so we will pick the bus up Friday. Have the Dulux state manager coming tomorrow to check the thermal paint we had done, think the layer is letting go and the orig colour is coming through?? Contacted the original painter and not returning calls?? anyway the manager guy also contacted the painter and same no return call. So when I rang to see what was happening the guy asked if we could get on the roof and take one of the tiles to him (over the other side of town) WTF I replied, you want an old lady to get on the roof, get one of the tiles off and replace with a spare tile?? After he said it would take him an hr to get here and he wasn't allowed to get on the roof I said "so now is this where I get in touch with consumer?" a short time and he then said he would come up Thurs, I asked who will be getting on the roof? answer was I won't tell if you don't" How bloody cheeky. (staff shortage apparently) OK time for me to say Goodnight everyone x

Don't think your dulux man is being too clever Dot. He has a warranty issue to be fixed and suggesting consumer affairs is the right thing to do. But you shouldn't have to threaten them to get action. Hope you get some satisfaction from them anyway. It will be nice for you to get the bus back and start on the process of escaping , yay. xxxx
Had a chiropractor day for me, while his nibs supervised the van man installing the new door handle. Looks pretty good too.
Business is all ready for him to load into the truck and even more time was spent sorting out chemisty things. We don't want to be in the middle of nowhere and run out of something vital.
Tonight, as I sat down to the computer, I could hear what sounded like a kid trying to get some noise out of a didgeridoo. After much research, it turned out to be a filter on our hot water heater. The top of the filter seems to have buckled from the heat. It's then letting a stream of water flow out through some strange spaces, hence the evil sounds. Plumber will get a call, first thing in the morning. Water had to be totally turned off. Lucky that this happened while we are home. He does turn off the water before we leave home, but it could have still been a problem to be faced when we return home. So glad that we have tank water that leads to the loo, so nightly visits will still be ok.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Good night all have an appointment with a new foot man today hoping he may be able to help with the pain and trouble walking.(Thanks Dot)
Hoping the sensor for the diesel heater is here by Friday. Was nice yesterday turning the AC on to warm the house when required instead of freezing our butt off.
So good night to those asleep and good morning to those awake. Cheers Robert

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
In one word "knackered" The Dulux man turned up, got on the roof, took a tile and put another in it's place, grabbed a bag of lemons
and headed off to have the paint tested.
I had my MRI done then home as G had to get to the dentist (local) He got home with I have to have a root canal, he had the initial work done but now he has to go to another dentist in the city called "an Endodontic specialist"
Apparently these people are extra specialists with the tooths gunk and they mainly do root canals. I am ringing them tomorrow to see what is this idea, my usual dentist did mine plus HOW much is this going to cost? I thought all dentists did root canals ? The sky was a beautiful baby blue, no wind or rain either but when the sun started to go down bbrrrrr air con was on. Phone consult from GP in the morning, needing scripts, 3 referrals for specialists. and a partridge in a pair tree. Deborah I think we shall be turning everything off if we ever get away after your water woes. Shirley the bowling greens and croquet lawns are both undercover in Mt Barker near us., there is always something going on there. Watched a bit of RBT tonight, Q/ how can foreign people drive on the roads when they can't speak English? then the guy says he is a student but IF that is true how does he understand the teachers??? I am off to the shower then bed so I bid you all goodnight x
Goodnight Bobr x
