My doc has given me the antivirals, he said that at my age 75 and asthmatic its better to take them than to end up in hospital on ventilator. If it goes topsy-turvy.
I'm taking them.

Dot, the new neighbour is in house 26, that is the one on the right of the drive when looking from the roadside. His name is now confirmed: GRAHAMe - - not George.
House 30 on the left of my house was where Bernice lived and that house is unoccupied since Bernie died about a year ago. Bernie's daughter plans to sell the house but is yet to dispose of the contents and personal effects.
Bernice was living in a nursing home in Mackay for about a yeAR following her leg amputation as a result of gangrene in her foot. Sad story in all. It stopped her playing golf (but didn't stop the drinking).
The Whites who live across the road and the 3 young boys are still there with Mrs White now driving a 300 ton dump truck at one of the coal mines. The eldest boy, 13 years old, has had a growth spurt and is now about a head higher than his dad. The 11 year old boy is taller than his mum. Kids grow fast now days. Next thing is they will be wearing long pants.

Nothing much has been going on today apart from some laundry and G man has been fluffing around outside, he did an egg sweep and yep there one was, so that was disposed of and the golf ball was placed in it's spot , so lets see what happens next. Tanks you should offer to buy Bernice's place as is Nothing on TV so it's shower time and to bed early, Hope all the sickies are improving, take things slowly Deborah. Cancer is certainly prevalent in aged folk Dot, another bowler's husband, a bowler himself had bowel cancer & now wears a bag, he has started to bowl again, good to see him on the green.

Five of our ladies have been treated for breast cancer & given the all clear over the last 10 years.

Laundry is a big enough job for a day Dot. Better remind that bird who is the boss around there xxxx

Another cold but sunny day in Queensland. We think we may move on tomorrow, so a bit of house cleaning was in order. All mats were taken out and banged on a fencepost, floor swept and mopped. Took all of ten minutes and that was exhausting enough for the day. It's amazing how many places we seem to have collected tiny pebbles from. None of the pebbles were gemstone quality either The parks have all been the same with very little grass on sites.

Possibly ending up in Goondawindi tomorrow.

Had to laugh, Norman the naughty galah was proudly sitting on the golf ball, suppose there will be another egg next to it in a day or two Doggie sitting for a few hrs tomorrow as well as hairdressers in the arvo. G has been doing a bit of gardening but too cold out side for me so I just bumbled around in side. I have come to the conclusion that I am a hoarder, a hoarder of sentimental objects (mum and dads things)
So hard to get rid of things that meant so much to them and how hard they worked for those things to make our lives better.. Glad you are feeling better Deborah but don't over do things for a while. How's this.. Friend of mine's daughter had a message on her estranged husb fb page saying he was coming to Adelaide to take his boy and that he was going to KILL his X. The X has a restraining order against him. My friend has now got her daughter and grandson with her, she got in touch with the police and they are investigating ??? WHAT the?? He should be arrested and charged. Just another example of the laws and child protective mob. Still awaiting more info. Get out there Shirley with those new bowls. I’m a bit the same… I have two items which were wedding presents to my parents. (Yes, they were married … I came along 11 years later, six years after my sister! )
I’m hoping our Son-&-Heir will pass them on to our granddaughter. At least, that’s the instruction he’s been given.
We also have boxes of “stuff” from both sets of parents: dinner sets, nick-nacks & odds-&-sods.
Hate to think what S-&-H will have to sort through after we drop off the perch!

No doggie sit today, she wasn't feeling very well so she stayed home in her bed ? vet tomorrow if no improvement. Hair cuts done and dusted for another 6 weeks. Had a call from the caravan repair place, our awning has arrived so we go to get it fitted on Wednesday. Fuel this arvo was $1.58.9 this evening $1.98.9 in just a few hours ??? Looks like old Scomo may be in the do do has he been taking lessons from the yanky ginger ninja ?? I was up early this morning and I am paying for it now, have already had a nap and so I am off to bed very soon . Take care everyone all you sickies and those on the roads. Nothing done at all today, too dam tired. Power mob coming tomorrow sometime to put new fangled meter board in, so I shall head into the bus and do some bits and bobs ready to head to Murray bridge on Thurs for the new awning. Norman is still sitting on the golf ball How easy is it to fool a male hey Has anyone ever used the old roads bitumen for driveways etc?? HTFFBO is thriving in the local community, today she was flogging raffle tickets for the CWA. Hope you are feeling better Deborah, travel safe. Mad from AGL and fitted new auto meter all in lass than 1 hr. G went to check the bus for tomorrows trip for the new awning but he found the eater filter was not happy so ordered a new one but have to wait for it to arrive from Vic. . Going to say goodnight now as I had a message to ring my NZ M8 and that will last for a couple of hrs. Hope everyone is getting better and safe on the roads.
