Re: Good morning daily
Good morning All. I have not had the best of days since Friday due to the fact that we left Mansfield and drove to Kyneton where we will be until next Friday. On arrival we stopped near a cafe/pie shop and I reached for my wallet only to find it missing, with all credit/debit cards etc, driver's licence and about $400. We have contacted every place we have been, including Police, without success. I am to drop Julie off at melbourne airport on Thursday so will need to get her to withdraw some cash before then so that I can have sufficient for petrol etc to get home to Newcastle. All credit/debit cards have been put on hold until I get home and can organise replacements.

Good morning 14c, beautiful sunshine, slight breeze from the S/W, pleasant day ahead.
Definitely no good loosing your wallet George, I remember you loosing it before & asking us if we had found it at our place, hopefully some honest person finds it.

Re: Good morning daily
George,
Bummer about your wallet.
But before you go to all the trouble of replacing cards etc., check that you didn’t accidentally leave it at home somewhere.
Had a bummer of a week myself.
Friend asked to borrow my belt-sander last Monday.
When I pulled it out of the shelves I noticed the drive drum was full of sawdust, and without thinking blew it out… and copped an eyeful of sawdust!
Ended up at local hospital at 2200, having my eye flushed. One stubborn particle lodged high under my eyelid and couldn’t be moved. Doc’s solution was anaesthetic drops & an eyepatch.
Trouble was we were driving to Melbourne on Wednesday. One-eyed driving is not recommended… no depth perception. So SWMBO drove.
Son-&-Heir to the rescue! As an ICU Nurse Educator his First Aid kit is something to behold. He was able to flush out the particle. All better now.
Thank you, son!
