Where is everyone?? Had a text from GP rooms to say we shall be getting a ph consult this arvo to discuss our recent blood tests. Gman has to restart his B12 jabs as they are low again, he tried to get the pills but she said no the jab is faster, she promised him a sugar free Lolly. and I have too many white blood cells in my P so have to do that again, was not a UTI so ?? Good GP hey? Boys on bikes are on, Deborah a Jayco boy won the stage last night. Spain looks a country of many different types of terrain and the beaches look great. Blimey you lot, Cold as ice tonight. Air been on all day. Brian been out 30 minutes for the whole day. Smart cat!!. Cut my fingernails last night and Brian's as well. Watching Ross Kemp Shipwreck Treasure Hunter, his grandfather was also in the Merchant Navy at the same time as my dad and also on 2 of the ships that were torpedoed same as dad ? So sad those young men were not recognized until sort of recently. No PTSD support for them . Dad only spoke of one time he was on the floating part of his ship and that was just before he died. Mum asked him about a nightmare he was having. Apparently in the early morning they heard some banging on the part he was on, when the fog sort of cleared enough they looked over the side and saw a lifeboat full of women and children all frozen. Their ship had also been sunk by the U boats . so, with that I am saying goodnight, everyone x Goodnight Chuck x

Dot only last Tuesday i was bowling with our oldest lady 93yrs., she was telling me how her husband was in the merchant navy during the war, she only recently applied for support after being told by her hairdresser to do so, she received the support & some back pay, he died about 25yrs., ago.
Murphy showed up at Mass one Sunday and the priest almost fell down when he saw him.
He'd never been to church in his life. After Mass, the priest caught up with him an said, " Murphy, I am so glad ya decided to come to Mass. What made ya come"...?
Murphy said, "I got to be honest with you Father, a while back, I misplaced me hat and I really, really love that hat. I know that McGlynn had a hat just like mine and I knew he came to church every Sunday. I also knew that he had to take off his hat during Mass and figured he would leave it in the back of the church. So, I was going to leave after Communion and steal McGlynn's hat"...
The priest said, " Well, Murphy, I notice that ya didn't steal McGlynn's hat.
What changed your mind"...?
Murphy replied, " Well, after I heard your sermon on the 10 Commandments I decided that I didn't need to steal McGlynn's hat after all".....
With a tear in his eye the priest gave Murphy a big smile and said; "After I talked about 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' ya decided you would rather do without your hat than burn in hell, eh"...?
Murphy slowly shook his head. "No, Father, after ya talked about 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' I remembered where I left me hat".
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
And on a Sunday as well Tanks, The boys on bikes have just a few ks to go so I am off to bed now, hope all the sickies are on the improve. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Tanks and Mr Major x . PS. The All Blacks won
