My by-pass surgery was cancelled when was just on the ward.
Turned out that the surgeon dropped a power drill and tried to catch it by the bit. He did, though thumb webbing.

Nigel was the surgeon and we know he does what he wants when he wants.

Another relaxing day...I'm starting to like it

Dot my daughter was told the reason for cancellation....a lot of emergency's operations over the weekend.
She as yet to be told when she can expect the next opp time. My daughter had taken leave from work so has cancelled that and is back at work today...Plus he son drove her to hospital the he went back to Maryborough to work to be then told to go back to the Bay to pick her up....bit like to domino affect.
We only had one more shower yesterday...enough to stop me walking.

Good morning everyone. We are not for from Pt Pirie now, I think. Twas weird travelling through the Nullabor yesty, with nothing but the low scrub as far as you could see.
We are off to the Adelaide Oval for a tour, once we get back into civilisation this morning.
I hope that all those waiting for an op can get their procedures done with minimal delay. What is wrong with our collective hospital systems now?
